But who's counting? Fall is in the air. I'm ready. Let the games begin.

Can't wait!
(Well, actually, I can wait b/c this summer has been way to cold for me to look forward to Fall temps, but for a (hopefully) turned around Michigan program, I'll get over it.)

MichMomma – welcome to the board. Just one word of caution. Stay away from the Ohio State bloggers. Most of them are convicted felons and deviates. They are known liars, cheats and no accounts. They usually live in their mothers basement. None of them ever went to OSU, even though they could have attended right out of middle school. Buckstaches and Mullets round out their appearance. Finally, although they don’t know jack squat about sports, they profess to be experts, especially in the arena of college football.

Welcome and be ready to listen to the osu bull flowing from don and nut.

I think this is the most anticipated season for me because of the unknown. I was pretty excited 2 years ago because I thought there was no way we weren't going to the NC. Now, I just wanna see the progress of the program and hopefully an impressive performance against WMU.

Can't wait. Hopefully my son's little league games won't fall on the same time and day as the Michigan games. Last year I got lucky as most of his games didn't. But the year before that about every one of his games fell at about the same time as Michigan games. If that's the case then I miss the Michigan games and just tape it and watch it later.

I'm ready to know the unknown. It'd be nice to just smoke WMU in game 1, something we really didn't do last year at all.....except Minnesota, I guess(29-6). How exciting would that be? LOL, but like I said---the unknown..

LL baseball? In the fall? They don't have that where I'm from. You are the last true family man, though.

I meant little league football. I never thought I'd miss Michigan games before I had kids. That can change once your own son takes the field at the same time that Michigan plays. If it comes between watching Michigan or attending and supporting your own kid at a sporting event, I just assumed that most parents would be there for their kid. It's one of those emotional rollercoasters that a parent has to go through. But I still will have Michigan in the back of my mind.

Soccer gets me. I have two - both play on Saturdays. I can only hope that the schedules for Michigan football and their soccer don't conflict too much.
And, if you want a potentially fun, and based on last season - risky, wager to make with some of the parents, the bet is - the loser wears something the winner picks out. Last year, I had to wear an Illinois sweatshirt that was absolutely humiliating - more on that another time.

Soccer used to get me allot too, but since last year my daughter made a select soccer team so now her games are usually on Sunday and occasionally during the week.

I am extremely excited about the beginning of the season but I wont be able to make the opener because I am officiating my first midget football game. I want so bad to be there but I couldnt turn down the opportunity to get a full time refereeing gig

Duly noted.
Thanks for the tip.

I already have a bet with some Notre Dame posers at my son's daycare; whoever loses has to wear the opposing teams' colors/shirt/hat/etc. to pick up their child at daycare the following Friday.
OUCH.

Be glad you don't have to wear those colors for a full Saturday - running errands, coaching soccer, etc.. OR, worse, have your children dress in the colors of the team you lost to.
