Or at least that is what we better start telling him. Apparently, if we disagree with him or Obama's new healthcare plan, Zilla can now report us directly to the White House.

These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.
Nice! I particularly liked the video. She tried to convince us that the video in question was "doctored," like Obama and Frank didn't really say those things. What I thought was really interesting was her approach in disproving this. Instead of showing us the "doctored" video and then showing us the "full context" of what they really said, she just showed more recent clips where he denies this is a push for government controlled healthcare. I can only surmise that she didn't show the video because they really said those things, as can be seen in the "doctored" video: http://www.breitbart.tv/uncovered-video-obama-explains-how-his-health-care-plan-will-eliminate-private-insurance/
Wow, the WH actually asking citizens to snitch on each other about "fishy" talk. Are you freaking kidding me? That's your boy, zilla.

1984?
How long will this stay up once it circulates the rounds of the web and the few media outlets that will actually report about it? Whoever thought this was a good idea should be fired.

I don't understand why they keep trying to defend Obama's indefensible statement on removing private care.
It's in the bill on pages 145 and 317. It clearly states private insurance will be grandfathered and phased out within 3 years.

This whole "report your friends" to the government program is unbelievable. What's even more than remarkable than that though is the defense used by liberals to justify it. I was reading comments from liberals about this and they all of sudden have a "what's the big deal?" approach.
They're line of thinking is this:
"If I receive an email or hear a conversation where I think someone is spreading "misinformation" (criticism) about Obama's health care plan, I have the constitutional right to exercise my first ammendment rights and express this to anyone else, including the White House".
This is absolutely tortured logic.
The White House or government should not be a repository of names, email addresses, distribution lists, domain sites, ip addresses of people who have a criticism of their pending political legislation. This type of "enemies list" that would ensue is precisely why Congress enacted the Privacy Act of 1974 in response to Richard Nixon's use and/or possession of an "enemies list".
That the White House would actually solicit this from private citizens is unfathomable. This is done to place fear in the mind's of critics to "shut up or else".
What could the "or else" be?
Well, after an Arizona senator criticized the stimulus bill, the White House directed its cabinet agencies to send letters to the governor of the senator's state asking if the stimulus money should be revoked.
Or how about poor Joe the Plumber? Some shmoe standing on his driveway during the fall campaign - minding his own business - and a candidate approaches him and poor Joe asks him a few questions about his economic proposals that the candidate doesn't like because he couldn't successfully conceal his real ideology like he does when he can read from a teleprompter. Next thing you know the State of Ohio and County/Local governments are leaking governmental records about the guy to press to character assassinate him.
I'm convinced more and more every day that this administration is envious of the power that dictators like Chavez, Castro, Jung, Ahmedinijihad, etc have. If they could they would have shut down all talk radio, Fox, etc by now.

It shouldn't be too suprising Furley that they are trying to shutdown any talk against their policies after all they already had a war with Limbaugh earlier this year as they tried to neutralize him. What gets me is how much the liberals cried foul over civil liberties when Bush was in and they were trying to protect the country but now are giving a free pass about things I would consider to be non-essential and very open to debate. They seem to have the mind set that only they know what is right for the country and that the Congress should get in line behind them like sheep and they know what is best for "we the people".
Health care for instance was a blip on the radar during the campaign but now it seems to be his number 1 agenda outside of the financial issues that were forced upon him to deal with. Why try to push it through before the country has even began to recover from the recession? And anyone who thinks that in the end we won't be paying through the nose for this in taxes should be buying some swampland I have for sale in Arizona.

I know it sounds scary to stand up against these Gestapo tactics (and yes, zilla, this is what it has become). But I'm trying to encourage people to self-report themselves, as I have done. I figure they need this site because they can't keep up with everyone. If we all flood it with self-admissions, they won't be able to keep tabs on anyone that way either. I refuse to stand by why the thought and speech police become established. Additionally, they will have to start admitting that maybe this movement isn't "astroturf." What BS; I hate that Pelosi bitch. Astroturf? Ha! They should know about that with their damn community organizing selves. Acorn and SEIU haven't had a few "staged" protests? Puhhleezzz!!! I think most American's are starting to come out of the coma-like trance Obama held over them. The luster is seriously starting to wear off. Thank God!
