I was listening to sports radio this morning and living in ACC country they were furious at ESPN’s rankings in which the Big Ten was ranked above the ACC. They went over the teams (of course they threw out Duke) in the format of the Big Ten/ACC challenge. Their picks:

1. OSU vs. Virginia Tech – they pick Tech
2. PSU vs. Florida State – Penn State
3. Georgia Tech vs. Iowa – Georgia Tech
4. UNC vs. Michigan State – UNC
5. Miami vs. Northwestern – Miami
6. Clemson vs. Illinois – Illinois
7. BC vs. Wisconsin – BC
8. NC State vs. Minnesota – NC State
9. Maryland vs. Michigan – Michigan (YEAH)
10. Wake vs. Purdue – Wake
11. Virginia vs. Indiana – Virginia

Leaves the Big Ten at 3 – 8. Ouch.

Man, I say fuck the ACC. There isn't a consistent team in that conference. I'm a gamblin man myself, and I cannot tell you how many times I've been burned by several of these teams. You never know which team is gonna show up. They'll look good one week and get their ass handed to them the next. I think the sleeper team in that division is definitely UNC though. It seems Butch Davis has them headed in the right direction and they may keep getting better if they continue to have solid recruiting classes like they did last year. Just my .02, but really, the hell with those inconsistent bastards D

had to add to this after I realized I never commented on these predictions, there is no way in hell VT beats tuos, but the rest may be fairly accurate for this season anyway.
