I think this guy will blow up at michigan. I love a guy coming in who has dominated in a 5A or 6A school in Texas, California, Florida these guys are more suited to play early and the step up in competion is not so huge. Hopkins needs a little more speed and to lower his pad level but I love a big fast back. Looks like Wheatley, at 6'1 215 if we put 20 more pounds on him he will be a bulldozer, and don't give me that shit about he won't work in the spread that only fast guys will. I call Bullshit on that. Suppose to be the best player in the Dallas Fort Worth area nuff said

Anybody that we can get right from under Mac Brown or Stoops' nose is a HUGE plus!

Kids does look like Ty Wheatley -- man I used to love watching him run. I never thought Ty was a great back at picking through the line, and gaining those 4 yards where there was nothing, like Hart was, but boy if that defense left him a seam WATCH OUT! Ty would get into that defensive backfield so fast, and then he looked like a GIANT running the ball against those little DBs Safetys. I also remember watching him run it the State Track Meet in high school in which he pulled up at the 100m finish and shattered the Michigan H.S. record -- wonder if he still holds it?

I really like the fact that Hopkins is excited about having a guy like Barwis push him to new heights in terms of strength and conditioning!

Michigan High school 100m record was broken by Micah Morris in 1994 from Bay City Central High School. I played high school ball with this guy and he was fast but afraid to get hit and not all that smart either.

Oh how do I say this... He reminds me of a man they call Adrian Peterson. He is built for destruction. I mean imagine two years of the Barwis system and a feel for the offense.. LOOK OUT! It sucks they have the same jersey as that c-bus school. Me and a sohio slate (i cant bring myself to type that putrid so-called school) fan were talking in comparison between Adrian and Beanie, he said Bean-head is better than AP and would beat AP up in a fight. I told this idiot that Beanie couldn't hold AP's jockstrap, AP is the epitome of the running back position and this kid Stephen Hopkins is built alot like him.

dont worry if hopkins is running a 4/ 2 40 ,boom wells is running a 3 ,9 ohio state always does betterthen anyone else ,just ask CUMMMMNUT..
