Jacksonville State suspends Perrilloux

JACKSONVILLE, Ala. -- Jacksonville State quarterback Ryan Perrilloux has been suspended for the season opener at Georgia Tech for violating team rules.

Coach Jack Crowe said Friday the unspecified infraction occurred during the spring and did not involve legal issues.

Perrilloux transferred to Jacksonville State before last season. He had been kicked off the LSU team for a string of issues that included skipping classes, missing a team meeting and arriving late for conditioning.

He passed for 2,318 yards and 19 touchdowns last season. Crowe said Perrilloux would return to the starting job against Florida State in the second game.

Sophomore Marques Ivory is expected to start against the Yellow Jackets

How do you throw away an opportunity to be the head man for a national title contender because it cramps your style. If you do well there, you can go pro and make millions. How do you F that up? I'm just dumbfounded by the decisions these kids make when EVERYTHING is handed to them on a silver platter. They still seem to f*ck it up! Amazing...
