You MSU fans seem pretty quiet...let me ask, are you ready to become the preeminent college football team in the state of Michigan?
How are you looking this year? Your teams strengths and weaknesses? Your predicted win/loss record?
Predictions re OSU and UM?

Well we're quite because I'm really the only one and I haven't been coming around lately. Not to mention that this is really a UM website so I just come around to see what everyone on the other side is talking about. As for becoming the preeminent college football team in the state, I don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon. UM could be terrible for years and they'd still be UM. They'll probably always be the big name in the state. But I don't think that means MSU has to always take a backseat!
We'll be ok this year, probably 8-4. We lost a lot of offensive production with Ringer graduating. One of the younger backs will have to step it up, but I'm more concerned about our O-Line. I think we'll see a more balanced offense this year rather than running on almost every down.
I think the strength of the team will be our defense. We have a really deep secondary that is returning everyone. Most of them had a lot of playing time last year. Greg Jones and Trever Anderson will probably be the stars on defense.
As for UM, they'll be better for sure and probably finish at least 6-6. I haven't been paying too much attention though.

An OSU fan trolling via the MSU v M rivalry. Interesting and sad.

Asking another college football fan about their program in an open forum on topic does not fit the definition of trolling.
Whewww, I can see we have some very, very sensitive Michigan fans here. I promised the site administrator I would not engage in retarded flaming, and I meant it. I am under the impression still that we can all talk football without the need for personal insults. If we can't, especially on a site related to the University of Michigan, than that sir would indeed be interesting and sad.

The phrase you used to title the thread is what makes it trolling. Just another turd in the punchbowl.

Eloquent phrases such as that are surely not being taught at UM, right? After all, we are the Harvard of the Midwest.
This forum is about a competitive college sport, football. We can beat you, you can't beat us, etc, etc. Asking a MSU fan if they are finally ready to open up a can of whup ass and not take being referred to as little brother any longer is hardly inflammatory. Unless, of course, you happen to be a sensitive Michigan fan feeling a little beat up lately.:D

Thanks, but I'm not a girl. Guys can be nurses too you know! I just wanted to be able to find work when I graduated. And besides its easier to get into PA school that way or I could become a CRNA. Maybe I could go to UM even, haha, that'd be strange.
