Bucks 27, Middies 13. We just outmuscle them, too big, too strong. Tressel plays it close to the vest (no pun), not wanting to show anything that USC can plan for. A good warm-up scrimmage against a game but outclassed opponent. Take care, Navy. Good luck to you for the rest of the season. :cool:

The Buckeyes are too deep for the Middies. An upset would be fantastic, but the odds are so unbelievably low. I think the Buckeyes win this one by 17.

Funny thing about Pryor as fast as he is, he never broke any long runs last year just medium and short ones, ala Mike Hart style.

BTW I hear some people say Tebou's back up is better than him, 3 peat is likely next year.

Better passer - no question. Can he dominate like Tebow? Can he just get it done when it needs to get done? Don't think we'll see another Tebow through here again....ever. Heck, I'm not enough of a homer to even guarantee an NC this year...you want me to go ahead an do it for next year? I do have high hopes for Brantley, but I'm not insane. I don't think next year will be a repeat of 2007 (where we lost 4 games), but I seriously doubt it will be another NC campaign either.

Funny. Nope, you are the first. Only know about Bill the Goat because my roommate and I used to play a lot of NCAA 1998 in college. We were so damn good we were always looking for a challenge. We played a couple dynasties with Navy. We were both curious about the goat mascot/emblem. Looked it up then and I have always remembered that little piece of CFB trivia.

I am concerned that Navy was dominated by both Pitt and Notre Dame (until some late garbage yds and pts) but they are at full strength and will be sky high for this rare trip to Columbus. My prediction...OSU 28 Navy 24

The bucks don't blow anyone out early in the year, in fact they struggle. This game will be close for 3 quarters, then the bucks pull away in the fourth. 24-13 OSU final. Reading on Navy, they have only 7 starters returing. Their QB tends to make bad mistakes when he throws the ball. This will be a problem for Navy, but they must throw to win. OSU CB's are not that good, but for some reason team are scared to throw. You must be agressive with these turds. Let them adapt to your offense and you win.

Yeah, I felt the same way when Navy was going for the two point conversion to tie the game with about 3 min left.:rolleyes: What are you going to say next week if OSU is only down 7 before USC throws on an extra 3 TDs in the 4th quarter? It was closer than the score showed? I agree that the Navy/OSU game should not have been close at the end, but that's what happens when you throw picks and refuse to cover receivers.
