MSU will be UM big brother. Mike is a great coach and will be able to get the talent that UM used to get.

That's a good one. Enjoy your attempt at English as well.

Back to trolling huh? That may be your opinion but it looks to me like UM is (again) putting together a much better recruiting class than MSU.

UM #8
MSU #16

Dantonio has never been more than a mediocre coach with mediocre teams. He has yet to win a big game against a big opponent.

What was the final score of the Penn State vs. Michigan State game?

Way to show up Spartans!!!

When Dantonio takes a new job the process will start over again. Rinse and repeat Spartans, the cycle isn't ending anytime soon.

This years MSU team was the best they've had in years, while UM's was arguably one of the worst in history. You guys still struggled to come out with the win, yet we're going to be the little brother? :D

Well, well, I can't believe you are accusing someone of trolling when they don't even get our coach's name right. It's Mark, not Mike, and for the record I agree with a little bit of what all of you are saying, just not anything that's bashing on MSU. Do I think MSU is UM's Big Brother, no, do I think MSU is UM's Little Brother, NO. I actually think the whole Little Brother/Big Brother thing is stupid, it just makes whoever says it look like a classless/arrogant prick.

Argue about it however you want, I don't really care. Here's some more food for thought, MSU and UM are two different football teams with two different philosophies for both offense and defense. They are going to recruit different types of players and there's no reason that both teams can't be good and the annual game can be more competitive. By the way, one of you talked about how MSU struggled this year against UM, if that's true the same can be said about UM struggling against MSU in 2005, a game that went into 2 OTs!

Whatever, it's good to have the site back and its nice to see we didn't have too many casualties!

About the same as the UM, OSU game! Sorry GoBlue, I couldn't help myself! Hopefully there will be a time when no one in the Big Ten will want to play either team from Michigan!

For a Sparty, you are pretty classy. I don't like your team, but you are ok with me.

Thanks, Hammer. Personally I think its a lot easier to have a better discussion by staying classy as opposed to being a one team homer and talking trash all the time. Isn't that what this board is about, for the most part?

We can hope can't we? It would be nice to have the majority of posts on here be more factual then trash.

Sorry GoGreen, that comment was not attended for you (even though MSU is your team). Michigan sucked REALLY BAD this year, there is no denying that! You are right about the this Toledo clown, he probably isn't a fan if he doesn't even know the coaches correct name! lol

michigan state is a cow college and once you understand this all of you msu fans will feel better, msu is second rate and is nothing more than a doormat for the university of michigan, im afraid mark dantonio opened up a can of worms after this years game and michigan and rich rod will put them in thier place , which is the rearend

michigan state is a cow college

Seriously, is there any reason for that? And how is MSU a doormat to UM, in what way? Those comments clearly show that you don't know that much about MSU. Comments like that make me mad because they are just stupid.

Actually MSU began as "Agricultural College of the State of Michigan" and later "Michigan State College of Agriculture and Applied Science ". It wasn't until more than 60 years after its founding that it started getting away from the cow curriculum and became "MSU".

Well, at least somebody knows something about State besides me! We may have started as an agricultural school, but so did a lot of other schools around the country and nobody calls them cow colleges. I just don't like it because it's a pretty stupid name.

like many of your posts, agent 704, i was just about to do a quick reply till i saw this. D'antonio may be able to do something with MSU for a few seasons but i have confidence that if he wins 10+ games for multiple seasons he will be gone faster than you can say "nick saban"

I agree, he already showed that when he left UC for MSU after a measly 3 seasons. Look who's in a BCS bowl now!
