How much of a difference does it make that this game is going to be played in the Big House? Any chance home field advantage rattles Clausen? We sounded LOUD last week for once and I can only imagine with ND coming to town it will get louder. I think if Michigan gets pumped up enough we can gain on them early. Your thoughts?

It's huge. Notre Dame Stadium isn't typically loud (too many people sitting on their hands, a problem I hear used to be similar in Ann Arbor) but the first road start is tough, especially in a rivalry game. We'll see how Forcier/Robinson handle it next month when they head to Michigan State. I don't think crowd noise will rattle Clausen. He's been to USC and his first start was at Penn State, which was so loud and jumpy the press box shook (seriously). If this was at Notre Dame, I would have had zero trepidation picking the Irish. At Michigan, I gave it some serious thought.
