advice on basketball tickets

i'm thinking about getting tix to michigan b.ball games and haven't been their in awhile. just had a couple ?'s:

1. how are the upper deck half court seats as far as being too far away from the court to see good?

2. is the blue section (lower level) usually pretty full for Big 10 games? and if not is it pretty easy to sneak down their from upper level?
