UM 19th in their final preaseason ranking. This should be a fun year now that Beiline has a roster full of his guys, you have ttourney experience, etc.

Having time to run your system with your players makes a difference. I hope they keep the momentum from last season.

I think UM will be dangerous this year in that they are not of the prestige of a Duke, Carolina, or Kansas where you get jacked up to play them and yet their style of play requires a dedicated discipline to stop what they want to do. They kind of remind me of the Blue Jackets in hockey under Hitchcock; Just a real tough out.

Plus, as you said, Beiline now has his guys familiar with the system: they know what to do, they know how to do it, they have the talent to do it, and are now experienced in doing it.

This should be a fun year watching them play. Aside from the games against OSU where my allegiance prevents it, I'll be pulling for UM. Basketball being played the right way demands it if you love the game.

Manny should really elevate his game more this year and become one of the premier scorers in the Big Ten and country! Sims needs to stay on the block more to win games this season, we have enough shooters on the perimeter!
