This kid is committed to Auburn. He is a dual threat QB being recruited as a WR He is taking a look around now at other schools to see if he is in the right place after the Chizick hire. Other schools he's highly considering if he decommits are Michigan and South Carolina, and TCU is kinda in the background it sounds like. He seems to be the most interested in Michigan though because he loves rodriguez, the offense, the tradition, and the facilities. The kid runs what looks like a legit 4.4 and he just looks like one of those players who has those instincts when watching him run, really reminds me of Stevie Breaston....he said it will probably come down to signing day. His official visit is Jan. 9th.

I hope RR and company really impress him, and Chizick doesn't....Plus how can you not be good with a name like Stallworth.http://mgoblog.com/diaries/interview-travante-stallworth#comments

I read about this kid yesterday and watched his video. Looks like he really likes the idea of going to a school like Michigan. He sounds like he has his head on right and education is a big part of his decision process. The biggest reason Michigan is high on his list is the other schools are recruiting him as a WR, Michigan is the only school that said he could try out at QB.

Yeah, this could looks like a legit player. And his name has star power written all over it. The next great UM receiver "Stallworth"??? Oh yeah, sounds good to me. This kid has some crazy skill.

He would indeed be a great athlete to have. I believe Sam said we are in the hunt for 4 WR/athlete types right now. Sounds like we stand a decent chance at Stallworth and Stokes. Both are going to visit in January.

Stokes has had a change of heart and U-M is big time in the mix. I believe it was Fred Jackson that went down and visited with him and now Stokes is going to come up and give us a visit as well. I think we are in it as strong as anyone else for this kid.

You are porbably right. My over 40 memory isn't what it used to be. LOL
Sam did say that we did stand a good chance at Stokes however.

In regards to Stallworth, the current situation with the Beaver decommit, this can only help in his recruitment. I don't know if Tajh Boyd would consider U-M. He dropped WV because they did not throw the ball enough for him. I hope we go after him hard though.

Boss, I can see RR going after Stallworth to use at WR and as backup QB and be done with the 2009 class for QBs. This would open the door for a top recruit in 2010.

At this 11th hour I believe you are right. Stallworth would be a good pickup and allow us a legit shot at Gardner for next year. Ricardo Miller said that he was already calling and recruiting Gardner for next year.
