View Full Version : Now this is what I'm thinking

Right now I'm feeling pretty good about this team. The defense (lbs included) actually showed up last night. We dominated Iowa on both sides of the line. We went -4 in turnovers and only lost by two on the road at night, on a cold night to say the least; outplaying a team that will finish the year ranked, probably somewhere between 5-15.
We have two freshman at QB and they will do what freshmen do, which is to say sometimes look amazing and sometimes look stupid.
If I am PSU, Wisconsin or OSU, which two of these games are at home (PSU, O$U). I am right now looking at this Michigan team and praying that I don't end up playing a healthy UM that is clicking on all cylinders. And that, my friends, is light years different from last year, when we didn't have any cylinders working and our MVP was the punter.

I'm calling it right now that Michigan will beat PSU and OSU! But they will lose to WHISKY at Camp Randall.
Michigan's Remaining game Prediction,
Deleware = W
Penn State = W
Illinois = W ( Possibly a trap game though! )
Purdue = W
Wisconsin = L
Ohio State = W
Michigan defense and offensive line showed that they could step up and play better last night and by the time OSU comes around they should be a little better. Hopefully by then the offense will have found a grove and RR will be using Denard like Slaten was to Pat White for Big Man Tate!
I see Michigan finishing 8-4 for sure and possibly 9-3! Call me crazy but the team is going to get it done. I could be wrong with the OSU prediction but remember throw everything out the window when that game hits and Michigan is going to want that game bad at home!

How quickly people forget what last year was like. We've lost 2 games by a total of 8 points and had opportunities to win both which is light years ahead of where were at this point in 2008.

WELL SAID MEDIC!
We were blown out and humiliated at home in 2007, and 2008 where as we've been IN every game this season.

I think the Buckeyes said the same thing in '69. Keep thinking that....

What have you seen in the last two weeks that would make you say -We will beat Ohio State and Penn State. Maybe you wish you can - but be realistic. The Buckeye defense will treat you like bitches.

That defense will mean nothing come Nov 21st. It's a game of will and I beleive Michigan will out will your suckeyes!
Trust me! Come close to game week you will be on here giving Michigan Props so just incase you lose ( which you will!) you will have something to back pedal on!
You of all people should know that your buckeyes will lead you up a mountain only to trip over a stick and fall all the way down!
So funny how everybody was calling for Tressells head after the USC loss and then you all got suckered in again by beating shitty teams in a shitty conference. Don't worry the echoes are not far away!
GO BLUE!!!!

Well for one, our MVP isn't the punter. Also, you maybe right in the fact that Ohio $tate may beat Michigan this year. But with the game in A2, it is gonna take all four quarters to beat Michigan. If you and your team think otherwise, you'll go down just like the 69 team did and the 2001 Michigan team did to your team.

Lets worry about Delaware State!
Having said that, OSU would beat us right now pretty badly. But OSU is a very fragile team, depending too much on their defensive front 7 who are on the field WAY too long.
Their offensive line is offensive, and their QB just plain confused. If I am OSU, I am not happy that the O could not produce shit against a not very good Wisconsin team.
Or put another way, OSU is going to LOSE a shoot out. If that D gets worn down, or injuries hit, they got bad problems.

Our offense is the only problem. We lost our starting nosetackle in the first quarter of the Indiana game - no problem we just plug in another and keep on rolling. We have depth and will have even more once he comes back. We are 8 or 9 deep on the line. You could not even tell we were missing a starter.

If betting was legal on this site I would put every spare buck I have on it.
Let's do this instead. Some kind of "eat crow" contest. Has that been done before? I will be humiliated in some fashion if OSU loses. You will be when we steamroll you.
Anybody got any ideas? Let's bring Nut into it,too. Two OSU trolls to be roasted?:eek:

The best bet on a site like this is letting the winner create the losers signature line for a month/year or whatever.
And I'm in.

There is one thing that you can count on. No matter what happens against Iowa and Penn State - Tressel will have the Buckeyes ready for action in AA. Michigan will have to play its best 4 quarters just to be in the game. Now a lot can happen between now and the game - but if both teams come in healthy the Buckeyes have a huge edge in talent.

OK NUT, You actually have a legit question that doesn't hijack the thread for once... congrats!! So, I'll answer.
1. OSU's defense, though good, is IMO not as good as Iowa. Sorry but to say your D is better is just ego and pride, which I understand but... You're the one who needs to be realistic on this one.
2. When our Rushing program gets going and is at full health, we can run on anyone, including Iowa, which as I have said has a better D than you, especially against the run.
3. We couldn't get started at MSU due to several factors: Inexperience, injury, and our first road game (for many). I fully believe that if David Molk (Center) is healthy, and Mooseman is at his real position, Michigan beats Sparty by 14 points.
4. TP will see a lot more pressure from our D than last year. Greg Robinson has our D playing a lot better this year, and (if he stays) will make our D phenomenal in the years to come.
5. OSU barely beat Navy.
6. OSU got Beat by USC, who got beat by Washington.
7. It's THE GAME and all bets are off no matter who is ranked where!!
8. PSU is overated with a cream puff schedule... call it a hunch, but I think we COULD win it.

:confused:Not sure on this one, but I don't think you can just change your name without completely re-registering for the site.:confused: Can he just put that in his signature???
