Why is one QB (Tebow) allowed to win a Heisman and lead his team to a NC, with his legs. And another QB (Pryor) is not?
Why is Pryor being set up as the fall guy for an O scheme that he doesn't get, or fit?
Help, anybody. An intelligent reason?

I watched a bit of the Florida game and I sure saw Tebow passing a LOT.
He was even making precise throws off his back foot. TP sure can't do that.
As to your question, the answer is simple, the coach. So are you ready to start bagging on JT again? Seems like you do that after every loss.

Nor Cal, Tebow will never be an NFL quarterback. Pryor knows that if he went to any of the schools that run a spread option, he would end up like Pat White or Vince Young - both busts at the NFL level as quarterbcks. He went to Ohio State because he saw how Jim Tressel and his staff turned Troy Smith into a great quarterback. The only thing that kept Troy Smith from being a first round quarterback and starting in the NFL is his lack of height. If Troy Smith were 6'5" like Joe Flacco, he'd be the starter in Baltimore.
Terrell Pryor is struggling because he didn't spend enough time in the offseason breaking down film and working on his mechanics....or if he did then he has an extremely long learning curve.
I'm sick and tired of people bagging on Tressel. The guy has won a half dozen national championships. The game hasn't passed him by, and he certainly hasn't forgotten how to coach. If he has a fault, it's that he doesn't have a reliable option to put in there in place of Pryor, but then again, I don't know how likely a top prospect would want to come to OSU in the same recruiting class as Pryor or even the one after him since they saw him become the starter three games into his freshmen year.
If darts need to be thrown, aim at Pryor's inability to make a pre-snap read, or at Antonio Henton for soliciting a prostitute and getting run out of Columbus, or on Mike Adams and Shugarts inability to remember the snap count or pick up the right guy in pass protection.
After the USC game, I think Tressel realized this season was shot as far as national title hopes go, and he probably knew before the game that Pryor hadn't made enough strides in his development. This season is all about developing Pryor and the young talent on offense.
I'm guessing Tressel saw more value in letting Pryor and the young offense work through some adversity than in the ultimate outcome of game 7 of the schedule this year. We still control our own destiny in the Big Ten. Most OSU fans just need to shut the hell up. We are not legitemate national championship contenders most years and expectations should reflect that. All this bitching and whining does is potentially run the bet coach we've had in my lifetime out of Columbus.
