I say move the Lions out of Detroit. They will never be winners as long as the philosophy of drafting the qb before drafting the O line remains in place. Stafford is good but got clobbered most of the season. By year three he will be shell shocked and career ruined by the Lions idiot management. How many other qb's have gone this route with the Lions. A good O line can make an average qb, Erik Kramer, look great but a bad O line won't get the top qb in the league 6 wins in a season.

What?! Stafford wasnt drafted by the Lions so what exactly are you talking about? I think that the Lions had a pretty good draft, they got a monster of a DT and they got a solid backup to Kevin Smith, Best might even become the starter.

I think Suh is the best player the Lions have drafted since #20. This guy can read the field like no one else, him alone on the field will give the offense 30% more possessions this year. This guy is going to be HUGE!

The Lions will always havea shitty ass team as long as William Clay Ford has any say in the franchise. The cheap bastard will not hire anyone that knows anything aobut the game and running a top franchise. How many coaches in the last 30 years have the Lions hired that have never had head coaching exsperience in the NFL at a level of a prennial playoff contender or Super Bowl winner. That would be a big fat 0. after watching today's game and getting seriously pissed at the lousy coaching job that Jim Shawartz gave it convinced me that he will be another Rod Marinelli. Thinking Jeff Backus is a all pro left takle is absurd at best and Steven Peterman is a starter in this league is a joke that is not funny. Drafting a tight end las tyear instead of an offensive lineman was another example of the stupidity of the front office. So they draft a tight end in the first round last year and trade for one of the better tight ends in the league was brilliant. Instead of wasting theat first round pick they should have kept Roy Williams. Calivn Johnson is so over rated it is disgusting....I mean everyone says he is one of the best WR in the league but the guy has shitty numbers every year. The whole double team thing is shit too. If he was as good as everyone thinks he would know how to beat the double teams and get his sorry ass open. look at Andre Johnson with the Texans, He gets double teamed every game but can still get open and puts up huge numbers even when David Carr was QB in Houston.
