I agree with that 100%, he's only played in one two other games this year. They should wait till he's played some more to start those comparisons. It's a nice thought though!

I'd like to see Blair White get more involved. He's always a threat when he's out there. It amazes me that he was just a walk-on at one point. I'd also like to see the defense keep playing with that same intensity too. So far the game has been dominated by defense, hopefully it will continue.

So far it seems like a chess match, with each team trying to run it down the others throats trying not to make any mistakes. Sooner or later one of the teams is going to have to open it up.

So what do you do to open up the second half? Do you continue to play conservatively and hope the other team make the big turnover? Or do you change strategies and open it up more, but also risk the big interception or sack?

I think that the offense needs to start taking a couple of more risks. Start throwing the ball more, but Iowa does have a lot of picks this year so Cousins will have to avoid throwing it up for grabs. Our O-line has been playing pretty well so far, so I say they should open up the pass game a little more.

Defensively we gotta keep covering their TE, he's too good to be left alone. Keep up that intensity!

I think if he chose to go to the NFL he'd get some looks. Maybe a late second rounder? He catches almost everything thrown to him and he's a team player. NFL teams are always looking for consistency. It'll be interesting to see what he does.

Well you figure you guys play @ Minnesota, vs Western Michigan, @Purdue, vs Penn State. There's no reason you guys can't finish at least 3-1, maybe even win out. That should put you at either 7-5 or 8-4. Then if you win the bowl game that wouldn't be too bad. Don't do what we do and put your expectations too high. It only leads to disappointment.

It's not that my expectations were too high, I honestly thought we'd finish somewhere around 7-5, 8-4 but when you have the #6 team in the nation and you're in that situation, you gotta put 'em away.
