It is nice to see the Big Ten being acknowledged as the second best Conf in the league, behind the ACC and ahead of the Big East, and not without due reason; we gave the ACC a pretty good challenge this year (lost 6-5), and some serious quality wins, and even the underdogs are giving ranked teams the fits (yesterday unranked Illinois blew out ranked Missouri, and unranked Wisc took it down to the last minute vs. #6 Texas). It helps that Minnesota, the Suckeyes and Michigan have done so well to add depth to the conference overall.
I for one think the Big Ten teams are in for a tough in-conference season. Thanks to an good OOC schedule and wins, however, we could see 7-8 teams making the tourney this year if they go close to 0.500 in conference play.
So much for that southern speed vs. the slowpoke Big Ten eh punks? So much for judging the conference based on tUOS losses, take that...oh wait, bball...
