Not looking good for the Hawkeyes at the half. Is this their let-down game after trailing 8 out of their 9 games at the half? Need some insight Hawks, get your troops going...

Too many mental mistakes by the Hawks. Both teams have about the same low yardage so far. If this is close in the 4th, Iowa will find a way to pull it out.

I know that the Hoosiers laid an egg against NW last week up big, but I think this one is O-V-E-R. Bye Bye Hawks

I agree, that's Indiana's fault. At least a FG makes it a 3 score game, bad play calling...

I think they're Officially God's Team this year. Too bad for Tebow and his devout @ss....

Holy crap what a game. Indiana isn't rolling over for them.
And then of course the refs screw Indiana and they miss the FG. Jim Delany probably mailed that bullshit call in himself.

Well Iowa's going to hold on as it seems but Indiana CAN'T beat Iowa and the referees, just not going to happen. The referees took TOO MANY points off the board for Indiana and that personal foul hit on the sideline was PATHETIC! Good luck the rest of the season Hawks, i bet you wish ALL of your games were at HOME...

Any truth to the rumor that 2 of the 3 officials in todays game are actually poetry professors at Iowa. Word is that they are covering for officials that came down with H1N1.

Had to respond to this thread. Have three things to say:
1. I thought SEC officials were bad. I did think the Dustin Doe pick6/fumble against Miss St. was probably a bad call (and I was really pissed at Doe for showboating at all), but I honestly felt the angle of the camera did not provide UNDISPUTABLE proof (at least not without some GPS time synchronization and some 3D reconstruction software). On the fly and in the review booth, I think the no overturn of the Doe play was minimally tolerable. On the otherhand, overturning the Indiana TD today was horrible. There was enough evidence on that screen to overturn a no TD call.
2. Despite the atrociousness of that call, I still doubt any media heads will come out and claim that the refs are "fixing the games" by order of the conference commissioner, as they have done with FL and AL the past few weeks. I can't believe how many ESPN talking heads actually suggested the refs were fixing the outcome of the SEC games.
3. For those of you still keeping up with the Yahoo College Pick'em League, I know we've all had some picks go against us, but that damn Iowa game was the most gutwrenching one I've had all season. You have to make the most of every week and try to find those upsets that nobody else sees - I had that one dead on. Following two consecutive close games on the road and Iowa's underwhelming performances at home this season, 17.5 points just seemed like a lot. Yet, I had to endure the luckiest pick 6 in the history of the game, missed field goals, 28 4th Qtr points, and a booth official that used confirming video to overturn a TD and take points off the board just to see that pick come up a half point short. I wasn't upset that Iowa won (well, now I am), but losing that pick really sucked because only 3 of us had it and most of the leaders did not. Hawks, I'm especially talking to you since I've trailed you by one point almost every week this season. Now, I'm trying to generate some separation here and your boys really pissed me off with that one.....that better not happen again.:D
P.S. It didn't help that that damn OSU pick came up one point short either. They hadn't won by that many points in two years....until today.
