Campbell has cleared admissions, but it still is a wait and see, however Sam still has a strong, strong feeling is that Campbell that he is going to Michigan.
Denard Robinson, four-star qb out of Fla, is a great runner, probably the fastest of Forceir, Newsome, Beaver and Boyd. But he is not as good of a passer as Beaver or Forcier. Recruiting has entered a dead period and there is a possibility of Michigan going after the Auburn de-committment, Raymond Cotton, who is ranked higher than Beaver. Also look for AJ Westendorp to either come in as a preferred walk-on or go to a MAC school as a qb. Eastern Michigan is being mentioned on this one. Also on recruiting qbs, Bryan has something on his web sight, don't know how to verify this but it is of some interest (Gardner? 2010). Here is the link

Maryland commitment Travis Hawkins from Quince Orchard is having second thoughts according to sources. Hawkins is talking with Nebraska after the Huskers landed his teammate, Jason Ankrah and he might gauge the interest of Florida, Tennessee and Alabama. Hawkins took official visits to Michigan and Oregon so those programs could be in the mix as well.
Now that Wichita Falls Rider QB Shavodrick Beaver has de-committed (not a big surprise as Beaver wanted to stay closer to home), will Michigan go after another quarterback in this class? Michigan is turning up the heat on Fla. athlete Denard Robinson to play quarterback and might make a late run at T. Boyd, but with 2010 looking like a great year at quarterback, don't expect the Wolverines to reach for another QB this year.
I wonder if OSU will shake a few guys out like we did with Barnes?
Ohio State could also be the team to beat for Richmond (Va.) Meadowbrook offensive tackle Morgan Moses. Moses has an official visit set with Alabama for Jan. 16 and the Tide are also high on his list, but sources say that Ohio State always comes up near the top of his list. The question is, do the Buckeyes have room? OSU has 24 commitments and it is widely assumed that a spot is being held for Glenville tackle Marcus Hall. With three offensive linemen already committed after taking three last year, does Ohio State have room for both Hall and Moses? The other question is, can they afford to turn away either if both want to come? Stay tuned and I'll see you on the other side of the New Year.
