View Full Version : What if we lose the next 3?

We are one and four in big ten play and just lost to the worst team in the big ten. What if we can't pull out a win during these next few games and go bowl-less yet again for the second year in a row? Could this be the end of Rich Rod with the impending retirement of Bill Martin? I don't know how much the powerfull, pissed off alumni are going to take. Those kids' confidence looked destroyed out there 2 minutes into the 3rd quarter. I don't know if they will be able to pull it together for Purdue after that one. I'm not saying I want him gone but to have the talent he has and not make it to a bowl for two years in a row? It's almost impossible to not make a bowl game. Just want to know what the RichRod supporters think if we lose the next 3 and are a 5-7 season. It's almost as if they have digressed. Maybe we need a new coach just to shake things up and shut people up? This season has become a national joke and disaster.
Even the trolls have to be a little upset, I mean - we haven't even been competition and by the looks of it you may have us by another 40 points this year.
I can't wait for basketball.

rr will be on the hot seat for next season if michigan goes 5 and 7 , and doesnt compete. it just is not exceptable, things take time but not performing well ,when you should doesnt get it. rr will get one more year ,but needs to improve and he needs to focus on the defense and slow down on the offensive munshkins.

RROD is on the hot seat now. If we go with a Michigan Man AD he might just quit. There are few supporters for him. Does anyone watch Michigan Replay or what's it called now, Inside Michigan? Does anyone notice that Brandstatter does not call RROD "coach" but calls him Rich? He always called Bo and Lloyd "Coach". I don't think Brandstatter is a big fan of him. It is almost awkward to watch that show! The drums are beating and they seem to be getting louder and louder!

Purdue is horrible, they have like 1 win then back to their losing ways.

A 5-7 season still gives RR one more season. With that said 2010 would need to be 9-3, or RR is the hell out of here.
But..... I am just some M fan with zero influence. Will the powerful boosters give him another year at 5-7? Thoughts?

If the team does not have another win they will not be bowl eligible and RR should be dismissed, if we don't get practice for a bowl for next season to see who is going to step up, we will be in for big problems next year.
just hope they win one more, maybe OSU but i'll take Purdue or Wisconsin

5-7 is unacceptable for this roster. We go 5-7 we need to clean house and do it now. The big ten is a weak league and there is not a sorry excuse in the world we shold be that bad. Gerry Faust at Notre Dame did alot better than what we are. There is not a major fb program in the nation that would tolerate 3-8 5-7 in this league. Good news is that we do have a roster a new coach could work with. Tate could be a real good qb for us if we can get some beef up front to block for him. Tate is both mobile and accurate if given some time. We will need a solid leader with a little swagger like Kiffin to step in and lift our players up instead of scream them down.

Your dead right Rad. I don't want to tolerate this as a fan one more season. we went from perenial 8-4 Virginia tech type performance to perenial big ten basement. Enough is Enough.
