At least last year we beat Wisconsin and Minnesota. This year all we have to show will probably be beating Indiana in the Big-10. With our record getting worse in the Big-10 and our overall record getting better due to the scheduling of marshamallows (Eastern, Western, and Del. St) I ask the enlightened Kool-Aid contingent to explain our wonderful progress that the sober of us cannot find?

No one expected either of those wins.
No one expects wins in our final two games. The season is far from over.

Sounds like someone has written this team off !
Hello?!?! We have 2 games left! We may win or lose both but even if we lose isn't early to be couting them as losses now?
That's disrespectful. No matter what you think of the coach. It's disrespectful to the players. Hell, I am offended as a fan.
And as far as asking people to enlighten you, people have put lots of time, Sten especially, trying to break down every bit of reason why we are where we are and you peoplecan't understand and do nothing but come up with the latest kool-aid joke.
EDIT: Seriously it's sad when the "message board material" comes from someone who calls themselves a Michigan Fan. I would honestly like to show your drivel to the team this week. People like you may be the thing these guys need to realize that they have to play for the team, not some half-assed fan sitting in th Big House.

I might be stupid, but I like our chances better against OSU than I do Wisky. If we can gameplan enough wrinkles into our offense, maybe..just maybe, we can catch them off guard.
And don't write the half assed fans in the stands off. If it wasn't for them, there wouldn't be a football team playing every Saturday.
7 wins. Get it done.

We will not beat OSU... we gave up 35+ pts to Illinois!!!
I dont see our young offense doing much against OSU's defense, I hope I am proven wrong but I just dont see it happening this year...

as posted in my other thread to you...
What did you expect? Look at it more objectively instead of as a UM fan. MICHIGAN HAS TWO STARTERS ON DEFENSE THAT ARE FCKING WALK ONS!!!!!!
That is NOT acceptable and a shows how lacking the talent is. Your not going to beat teams (generally) if you are not as talented as them period. UM is not as talented as probably 5 to 7 of the teams they play this year.
So what are you going on and on about? Please explain what your going on and on and getting so pi*sed about??? Your mad and pissed about a team who is less talented than more than half or so of the teams they play not winnning those games? That doesn't even make sense.
The point is this team is lacking so much in the talent department. Also keep in mind UM had no business beating wisky that was such a joke and lucky game. Look at the actual play on the field; it is much better than last year.
The problem with a lot of fans is everyone got used to UM winning 6 or 7 games without having to even try...literally rolling their helmuts on the team with sh*tty teams and winning. Things don't work that way anymore in college football. Your going to have bad seasons here and there. I predicted and expected a 6-6 year this year and I anticipated it would be tough getting those 6.
