Must have been worst than thought, might be 6 weeks in a boot.
Wonder is he will be back for the bowl game.

Can someone give me some good news? Like is it going to be raining cats and dogs at the OSU game?

The good news for you guys is that you had a good run and nobody can take that away from you. The only thing I worry about is that OSU is coming off a big win and has Um the next week. I guess it has the potential to be a trap game but it being the last home game of the year...I'm sure OSU will be pretty focused.

Not a chance Tressel let's team look past Iowa...senior day, at the Shoe, last home game of the year, B10 title, Rose Bowl, bump up in the polls by beating a team ahead in the rankings.

Miracles do happen, but Iowa will need JC himself this weekend.;)

OSU offense should have an even tougher time against Iowa than Penn State.

Not sure but surgery for a sprain when the x-rays were negative.

A bad sprain he is done for the season any way, post season should be good.

He must have tore something if he is having surgery.

This just in - the Buckeyes were sky high for the game before Stanzi got hurt. Now they smell blood. I expect the defensive line and secondary to really pester the Iowa offense. Don't even pack the running game - it won't work.

This game is HUGE for Ohio State. After the USC letdown and the Purdue blunder - we could still win the Big Ten and go to the Rose Bowl. They are also going for a record for most Big Ten Championships in a row. We will worry about Michigan the following week - that is an easy game to get up for. Iowa is in for a beating - possible shutout.

Good news? OSU has either lost or gone into overtime 5 of the last 8 games prior to Michigan week.

It will still be a low scoring game. Iowa likes to run the ball and their defense is good. Don't think you're going to walk over Iowa because they don't have their starting QB. Iowa may not have to play from behind this week because he won't throw 3 first half interceptions. ;)

Iowa will not have much luck running the ball - ask Penn State. They will force the young QB into passing situations - then force mistakes. The game will be close early - then OSU will pull away.

Leave Clausen out of this. He has his own foibles and whutnutz to worry about.

We don't have JC, only JV, and I guess DJK:cool:

Hate to break it to you, but Iowa will have the same game plan, and have done it every game so far this year.

Nice article about Ferentz doing more with less, in the newpaper today.

Got to give him credit as a coach, I guess he is pretty good after all with all he can get done with what he has to work with. Definitely a "coaching up" guy. Get's 4-5 star results with 2-3 star material.

Kind of sad to have to spank you guys being crippled and hobbled this weekend.:(

You would be surprised how many 4 stars are starting on this years team. I forget the number, but I was thinking it was like 6 or so, I know one is hurt now though. I think our TE is a 5 star.

JT was intense concerning the Iowa game at his news conference. He acted like Tom Brady and Peyton Manning combined would be playing QB for Iowa Saturday. And who could blame him? If they win, the Rose Bowl. If they lose, a so-so season for OSU standards. It's the biggest non-Michigan conference game in years.

This game is HUGE for Ohio State and that will keep them focused. We will worry about Michigan next week. This week lets win the conference and punch our ticket to The Rose Bowl.
