The basketball season has finally come, and it couldn't have come sooner. Can't wait to see Manny back in action and also the freshman Morris.

At the half, Michigan is up 51-25. Looked good and are spreading the ball around pretty nicely. Manny has 9, Sims has 10, Morris has 7, and Vogrich has 9.

Manny just got a triple double!
Matt Vogrich is 4 for 4 outside the arch in his first game.

Nice way to begin the season...Manny gets a Triple Double, Vogrich (however you spell it) hits 5 of 5 from down town. I am a bit concerned however that we still do not have much size in the paint. I was hoping we would work on that by recruiting but it doesnt seem to have happened. I fear that when we play bigger, more physical teams like OSU we will get man handled in the box.
Thoughts?

Not if we can run and gun like we did last night those slow teams wont be able to keep up. Aganist bigger teams Gibson will play more and he looked good last night. He has lost a lot of weight since last season and you could tell by the way he was leaping off the floor for rebounds. Ben Cronin is still coming off surgery in time he will become more of a contributor in the paint. With Manny he rebounds very well obviously I think we'll be fine.
Nice to see one former WV coach who had to install a new system can actually turn it around isn't it?

Notice he has 2 All-Big 10 players inherited from Amaker?
(out of 5 starters compared with 22)
talent wins games, not a coach.
how pathetic is that, that TOMMY AMAKER left his successor
better players than Lloyd Carr.
