Great pick-up!
Go Blue, and keep the stud defenders rolling in!

This is a HUGE pick up to help our defense in the future. Rivals has him a 4 star and the sixth best cornerback in the country. Scout has him as the third best cornerback in the country. He's rated the third best overall player in Pennsylvania.
I just hope RR can turn the corner a little in 2010 to get him off the hot seat so he can utilize his players that he needs.

Great DB pick up. Good lock down DB. We have some real TALENT coming in this class in the DB department.

Between Carvin Johson & Marv. Robinson at Safety;
and Courtney Avery, Terrence Talbott, Cullen Christian at CB,
I have to agree with your statement. MarvRob may move to
LB, but there is also a good chance we could land another
pretty highly rated Safety i.e. Tony Jefferson, not to mention
the possibility of landing Tony Grimes. Add in Adrian Whitty and
JT Turner coming off redshirt and I don't think there is any way
our secondary doesn't improve next season. Hopefully we land
or develop some LB's and our defense could actually look respectable.

Nice pickup! I was a little worried as this dude is legit and rivals is on his nuts so hard I thought he might start thinking "eh I should be in florida or usc". This kid will be great at UM and will the UM defense get back to 2006 fashion!

I think we get Grimes if we don't run out of scholies first (we will oversign by some but not many). Jefferson just busted onto the scene. I hope we get him to leave home.

Wait just a minute!
I was under the impression after reading all the nay-sayer posts that RR totally disregards the defense, doesn't know how to recruit defenders, and the Michigan's defense is destined to be a shell of its former self for years to come!
Better do like the global warming (opps, I mean climate change) "scientists" did and squash this information before it gets out, ban the person that wrote it from ever posting in here, or on any internet message board, again, spend billions on propaganda to brainwash school children and law makers, doctor up those Michigan Football computer models, discredit decenting voices publicly, and when all else fails, DENY DENY DENY!!!!
"um...I do not recall..."
LOL!

Like I've said alot lately hang in there because this team will improve alot under RR. Imagine Justin turner and Cullen Christian starting at the corners. If anybody has noticed the players that have stayed on the team are the players that RR has recruited with most of the LC recruits either flunking out or quitting because the work is too hard. Once we have 3 classes of this type of player it will be a different ball game. RR only has one full recruiting class at this point and a few add ons to LC's first class with 3 of those leaving the program early so hang in there and give it a chance. Right now Michigan needs everybodies support.

i read where cullen is the most physical corner in high school and lacks only one thing and that is great speed, people have compared him to ronnie lott as far as hitting people..

Ricky,
Cullen may not have great speed - but, I do believe Barwis will make him faster... And, hitting like Ronnie Lott - that is a very nice thing. I'd like to see our secondary looking like the days of Ty Law again.
