obama's approval rating among non-hispanic whites = 39%
obama's approval rating among blacks = 91%
i get that there is a historical element to obama's presidency, and there is understandably a certain amount pride among blacks toward what his election means...but this much of a disparity in opinion (42%) doesn't seem healthy for our country. Clinton had a 30% disparity in his presidency, but at least during most of his term the economy was humming. Consider this:

so nearly 1 in 3 young black Americans are without a job and yet the captain at the helm has a 91% approval rating among blacks.
