Varsity Blue and Mgoblog are both saying they haven't even heard of him being offered.

If he does commit, I hope Rod makes him cut his hair.

I am a little worried about this kid, it looks like the reason there hasn't been an offer is because they are waiting on his grades.

He just passed his ACT. It is believed that if Michigan comes through with an offer that he may cancel planned visits to Wisconsin and South Carolina and accept the offer.

here is what mods are saying on Scout:
Dale Pederman - no, nada, nupe ... we'd already told you this, and now we have - just because of the rumors - have reconfirmed it again. Personally from what I'm reading and this is just me and not the mods or anyone, but they are going after Mike Edwards hard, the three-star DB from Cleveland Glenville and his teamate five-star OL Marcus Hall (seem to be a package deal that O$U has no room for)

Isn't that the team Ted Ginn Sr. coaches? That is a tuos hotbed. If UM could even crack the door at a place like that, it's an accomplishment in of itself. Getting visits from them is another step. And actually landed one or both, holy sh!t, amazing. These are big "ifs" though.

Yes it is the team. I see Hall going to osu, as they have 1 spot left. It would be nice to land Edwards though, give us an in down there.

The Buckeyes have been leaving a spot open for Hall. They would love to plug him in along side the studs they recruited last year to form one hell of an offensive line. This would give the Buckeyes one of if not the most dominate offensive line in the country and they all would be freshmen or sophmores. Edwards I don't think was given an offer from OSU. Plus they do not have room for him. I have heard that Cincy, MSU, Illinois and others are also hot for him. I don't think it would be a shock if Michigan landed him - but it will be the exception, not the norm. Glenville (like all of Ohio) will remain a Buckeye recruiting hotbed. With all that Ohio State has done to help Ginn Sr and the players of Glenville their loyalty to OSU is very strong. I think Edwards very well might end up a Bearcat.
