A little late. But we need to hit those free throws. OMFG. 3's? If we can't make them, we're done. Could it get any worse, No? That's the good thing. I think they will come around when it matters, and make it to the tourney again.

You know against Marquette it was free throws and a shitty shooting percentage from beyond the arc but against BC it was all defense. The whole first half Michigan was allowing BC to penetrate and get uncontested layups. BC didnt have to do much but take a ton of high percentage shots! The defense is the key, it was the key last year also, when Michigan plays solid D then everything else falls into place.

I dont know if the team got to wrapped up in their own hype or if its just a product of a lot of new talent trying to get acclimated to the college game but Michigan needs to get their shit together now before the meat of the season comes around and they get spanked by Kansas

The Buckeyes won big and clinched the ACC Challenge for the Big Ten. Michigan was given a home game against a so so BC team - and lost. I thought Michigan was going to be good this year ?

The Chuckeyes didn't clinch the ACC Challenge for the Big Ten. Wisconsin DID. Also, Florida State is less than a so - so team, so the Nuts could have won blindfolded. We will finish ahead of your sorry asses this year.

The Wisconsin game ended before the Buckeye game (if you were watching) and the announcer said that if Ohio State hangs on to win - the Big Ten would win for the first time. The Buckeyes did.

As for finishing ahead of us - dream on. The Buckeyes have more weapons then the Wolverines and they have the soon to be Big Ten POY (Evan Turner). Boston College was wiping the floor with you guys last night. I have not seen the rankings - who is higher ?

Since I live down in ACC country, I am glad the Big Ten finally won a challenge in 11 seasons (I was starting feel like oSU did under Cooper, when they played Michigan).

I beleive the Big Ten was an underdog in 8 of the 11 games so this is very good. Unfortunately Michigan was favored against BC, as was oSU, but fell short. Wisc & Ill really came up big for us.

As with many of our bowl games Michigan/BC was a bad match-up for Michigan. Since Michigan's coach came from the Big East, BC was probably the team most familiar with his system.

All joking aside - Michigan had a problem with the size of BC. I said after one of their early games that if they don't shoot well from the outside - they are in trouble. They also had a problem with size inside. The game was not as close as the score. It was like when OSU played NC a few weeks ago. We close the gap so it looked good on the scoreboard - but the game was out of reach early.

Yes, the shooting is terrible from behind the arc and also the free throws. But, where the hell is Sims? He is getting pushed around on both sides of the court, and looks unmotivated. For being the biggest starter, he doesn't look like it. He can't get the rebounds, and cannot penetrate. He's a senior, he needs to be a leader. Oh, and Lucus-Perry shouldn't even be on the court.

Sims only seems to like to play offense. I could be wrong but that is what it looks like. Michigan lacked the toughness and gurth to mix it up in the paint last year and it killed them. The same problem is showing its head already this year. The Big Ten is a half court slugfest every game. We are a leauge loaded with bangers. The Buckeyes have a huge hieght advantage on most teams they play. The point guard is 6'7. When Michigan is shooting well - they will be fine. But if the shot is off, they do not have the ability or kind of player needed to play power basketball. It seems like both WV coaches have the same train of thought - smaller and quicker. Neither seems to work.
