Watching the BCS show makes me damn sick to my stomach, knowing that Michigan used to be a regular in that, or nearly such. It's bullshit how Rodriguez says for us to be patient. This is Michigan, they're supposed to win. I feel like a part of me has died as an M fan.

Sorry aaron, the argument of, "we're Michigan" isn't getting us any wins any longer -- that went out with Bo. Carr tried to use it, but it didn't work (remember App. St.?!?).

Besides, Michigan has been to 4 BCS bowls, and is 1-3 in the appearance -- nothing to write home about -- what OSU (4-3) has 8 (or will have after this year), and Oklahoma (2-5), and USC have (6-1) 7. Florida (4-1) and FSU (1-5) have 6 appearances.

That part of you that has died is your irrational ego concerning Michigan football. All the programs that I've listed above have changed regimes in the past decade, Michigan is going through their change latter than everyone else. So, it's more glaring.

Just relax, and watch the young talented players grow and mature, and you'll see the wins start to pile up!

Maybe there is a curse ? Michigan has stunk ever since Bo died - think about it.

National championship, numerous Big Ten titles during a non watered down period in the Big Ten says otherwise.

Plus since Bo left we have a winning record against oSU. No curse here...

So the 7-5 season in 2005 wasn't bad? The debacle against Nebraska was UM at its finest? At that point UM was already 1-4 against JT. We had plenty of 3-5 loss seasons under Carr. Arguably thats a vast improvement over the past 2 years but once UM is back I see being more like OSU with 1-3 loss seasons being a down year.

With that said, it does seem there could be a "curse of Bo".

Michigan has four BCS appearances.

Yep 4 appearances.

2000 Orange Bowl
2004 Rose Bowl
2005 Rose Bowl
2007 Rose Bowl (only made this one because OSU was in the NC)

Our record??? 1-3 with the one win in 2000. Not exactly a stellar record. Again, on the national stage UM is no better than OSU as indicated by our bowl record. We've always been horrible in the Rose Bowl for instance.

Michigan has struggled against the PAC 10 and done pretty good against the SEC. oSU has done the opposite (except USC losses as of recent).

oSU has taken over as the flag ship program of a watered down Big Ten. Hopefully we will see a resurgent Michigan program take back the mantle...the Big Ten needs them as oSU is not getting it done on the national stage.

If RR does not feild a winning team THIS year he should be gone and BY WINNING I mean at least 7-5 and wins over MSU and OSU I can see going 7-5 and a win over MSU but thats about it,,, I will keep saying this till im BLUE in the face MICHIGAN NEEDS TO GO BACK TO DEFENSE AND A STRONG GROUND GAME
