So people in the cheap seats need to leave Pryor alone. Some guys put in more energy, passion, and emotion than others. It's not a sign of your manhood or maturity, just personality and personal investment. I mean, a lot of athletes, college and pro, have cried after losing AND winning games.

Tebow cried because his dream of a NC in his senoir year was shattered. I have nothing but respect for this kid. Did you see the story on the 15 year old kid that died from a ruptured liver sustained in a football game, and what Tebow done for the family? Nothing but class.

it's not the crying that bothers most people. I have no problem with the players or coaches crying. It happens, it's an emotional game. You put your heart into a game. Which is why I NEVER made fun of pryor for actually crying.
People make fun of pryor because he talks like his brain is full of marbles and he looks like this...

So what. As Pryor did, leave the helmet on and move on. Anyway, I heard that Kleenex was in contact with Tim Tebow today, they're offering a fairly wealthy endorsement. :)
The one positive that I remember about that Fiesta Bowl loss was how our seniors, including Troy, reacted afterwards. That loss was a million times worse than this, as it completely destroyed the legacy of that Senior class and TS in particular. The TS quote that stands out for me was "this makes you grow up pretty fast."
You'll have to excuse me if I don't consider Tebow's little display of laying on the ground in the fetal position to be actual leadership.

I was dissapointed Tebow reacted like that after the loss. I thought here's a guy that's done well enough to win two championships and he is going out like that? He had no reason to hang his head with what he has accomplished. He should feel lucky for all the sucess he has had.

I didn't see you run to RR's defense when he got a little choked up at a press conference.

You are contradicting yourself here. In your first post, you said Tebow put his heart and energy into the game, and there was nothing wrong with his crying because of his passion. Now your saying he isn't a leader because he was crying after the game, and are pretty much making fun of him. I thought leaders put all of their energy and passion in the game just like Tebow does. You aren't making sense (again). You can't have it both ways.

Not reading posts on this board is contagious I'm afraid. You don't have to make a public display out of it when you show your emotions. Tebow cried openly and was on display for a CBS national viewing audience, dozens of photographers, and over 90,000 fans in the stadium. Keep it in the locker room or leave the helmet on and sit on the bench. He's supposed to be the team leader not a drama queen.

Not all sobbing is the same.
RR was choked up because people accused him of not looking out for his players in "practice-gate".
Tebow was choked up because it was the final game of what can arguably be best college football career in history, and he was full of nostalgia and sadness that he lost.
TP was choked up because he lost a game and emotionally couldn't deal with it. That is something that elementary school kids do.

Or something a true freshman would do in the biggest game of his life. Unlike Tebow and RRod, Pryor didn't whore himself to the media. He sat on the bench with his helmet on, not seeking attention.

I think he earned the right to be emotional. Arguably one of the best college players ever, won a Heisman, 2 MNC's and SEC champs. He had a very tough year on a personal level since the concussion and has been roundly criticized. To end the regular season like that had to be overwhelming as I'm sure the PSU game was last year for TP against his home state school.

Whether he cried or not most NCAA teams would kill to have a guy like Tebow playing for their team and doing the things he has accomplished in his career. Love him or hate him you have to admit he has been one of the greatest college players ever. He came in with a lot of hype and lived up to the bill.

Sounds a lot like that Terrelle Pryor guy.
On opposite day.
