Unbelievable story with this coach engaging in physical abuse of the son of one of ESPN's analysts, Craig James.
Putting a concussed player in isolation to make him "man up"? This is sheer madness. Hard to believe an accomplished Head Coach like Mike Leach could do something like this.
What a crazy story...

That is crazy. It just goes to show you you can be coach of the year one year and then the next year you're fired and an outcast. Winning isn't everything. He was winning. It also matters how you conduct yourself.

To be honest, I figured something was wrong with this guy after his rant about players and their "fat little girlfriends". Did Leach think he could do this to a James' son without repurcussions?
There is no place for a coach who is abusive toward his players, and guys like Mangino (or whatever that fatass from Kansas' name was) and Leach should not be in a position to mold young student athlete's lives.

Leach was always a wild card and in my experience guys like that have no lifeline when the screw up.

The funny thing to me is that all of the players are glad that he's gone. He must have really been an asshole.

A lot of stories coming out that things were not exactly as the James' claim they were and that Adam was indeed a very lazy player. With all that said Leach was arrogant and made his bed, now he will be lying in it.

So, it appears Mr. Craig James (Daddy) threatened to sue Texas Tech - though James denies it. The link is: http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/news?slug=ap-texastech-leach-james&prov=ap&type=lgns
James - father and son - are fit for one another.
