It's a great day to be a Michigan Wolverine!

Definately a solid showing for UM today, beating a Very good Illinois team who has knocked off some pretty decent talent over their 7 game win streak.

Defense really turned it up after halftime to help hold off the charge.

Hopefully this will help us hold spot in the top 25.

Great win. They're playing great O, just need to find some rhythm while playing man D. Illinois was #17 in the RPI, so this is a big one.

On another fun note, Suckeyes lost to the Gophers. HAHAHA!!

I wouldn't say too much about Minnesota. That's a solid team, so let's just focus on our wins, okay? As for today, Gibson had a strong finish. I've never been a big fan of his but Sims has been struggling a little lately so we needed some energy from another big guy. His three and dunk, along with Grady's plays, got that win for us.

I mean, he loses his center from last year, and his best forward, and now starts players that were largely ignored by other teams recruiting (except Harris and Lucas-Perry).
Man, is UM basketball going to be good! Get this coach a practice facility! Forget football! They are not the only act in town anymore!
