Wow, that's a switch, playing a really good OOC team for a change. Any predictions on how that one goes down?

I say they get killed, they don't have a qaurterback that can keep them in it.
They lose some good ones on that team.

Norcal seems to be trying to surpass NUT as the top poster on the board both in meaningless thread and total posts. Who woulda thunk that the top 2 posters on a UM board would be UOS fans? At the rate he is posting he'll be in the top 2 within a month.

As for the subject.....who cares? I remember when OSU used to be cupcake kings too. If OSU is smart they won't schedule SEC teams anyways....oh, too late!

The Nittany Lions always seem to reload pretty good. Plus they just beat the LSU team that nearly beat Bama. I like their chances, and it would give the B10 a boost in reputation and perception. If they lose it will be by less than 7. Paterno always plays the SEC tough, including Bama.;)

Well I have to respectfully disagree. I did not make the original reference to him always making meaningless posts (which he does probably 90% of the time). I only agreed with the person making that statement, Norcal took exception with my post rather than the original one and it was off from there.

It is funny though how their posts in our threads always do one of the following the second they start typing...

1. Get off topic, usually by bashing RR or UM
2. Make references to how great OSU is compared to the thread subject
3. Talk about how great OSU in a thread they created and then in the same breath bash UM or RR
4. Bash RR or UM at every turn
5. Bash we "kool aid drinkers"
6. During argument say we are wrong with out any substantive proof or ability to debate the subject, usually resorting in more bashing of RR, UM or kool aid drinkers

Basically their whole intent is to cause trouble, be rabble rousers and get under our skin. What really aggravates me is that is allowed to continue. I would love to see them try this stuff in other UM friendly boards, in particular another one I frequent because they wouldn't last long. But despite it all I will not allow them to win by driving me away.

1. WRONG. Many of the threads in the UM section of the board are about the controversial Mr. Rodriguez, and are started by UM fans. Then when the Buckeye fans chip in with their objective observations on the matter we get accused of trolling just because we don't side with the pro-RR crowd.

2. WRONG. Any comparisons made using OSU is to merely put things in perspective, or add a counter-point for analysis.

3. WRONG. Many threads created by the OSU fans have been very critical of what has been going on in Columbus, and what needed to be done to correct matters.

4. WRONG. Credit has been given where credit has been deserved. And criticism likewise.

5. WRONG. Saying the pro-RR crowd gets bashed is almost hysterical. I have seen the pro-RR crowd engage in slinging vile, childish personal insults against UM and any other CFB fans who don't agree with their point of view time and time again, for years now. And all we non-RR fans have ever given back to you is the tag "Kool-Aid Drinkers". That is not bashing, get real.

6. WRONG. This is not a court of law with self appointed judges and juries. It is a college sports forum, free to public access. Opinions and observations are the norm in a forum. Those backed up with facts carry more weight, but every person is entitled to their opinion.

Your post demonstrates the biggest source of friction on the board. The pro-RR crowd wants everyone else to get in line with them, or else suffer insults and be forced to leave the board. You pro-RR people are in one fell swoop both the biggest bullies and crybabies on this board. You try to silence everyone else, and then snivel about trolling. For heaven's sake, grow up. Show some maturity and a sense of humor. Endure and tolerate opinions you don't agree with, and enjoy the laughs to be found in the banter and smack talk inherent in the rivalry. I sure the hell do.:D
