Indianapolis -7.5 over NY Jets. O/U 40

New Orleans -4 over Minnesota. O/U 52.5

If I could take one bet it would be Indianapolis giving 7.5 points to the Jets.

If you had to take one bet, who would you take? You could also take the over/under as your one bet if you wanted to.

Who would you take in both games?

Minnesota will beat the Saints outright. Forget the points.

Jets will win with the points. Indy will win the game.

Vikings will win the Super Bowl.

So if I make a bet is my best bet the colts giving 7.5 points to the jets?

I'd lay money on the Colts and the Saints... with the points...

Thanks for the tips. Between the three of us, two of us think the colts will cover.

I'm still not sure about the saints and vikings. It looks like the point spread went down in that one from 4 to 3.5 points. That one looks like a tossup to me. As of now I'm definitely betting big on the colts.

I'm still gonna wait to see how I feel on the saints and vikings if I bet on that one.

Any more suggestions would be appreciated.

I think Sanchez and the Jets will have trouble in Indy. Thomas Jones would have to have a career game - and, I don't know if the Colts D will let him. And, the Jets receiver corps just isn't tremendous...

Manning is just too experienced and too sharp.

That Saints / Vikings game could be amazing. Minny's D was a lot tougher on Dallas than I thought they would be.

Until St. Louis won the SB, there had never been a dome team that won it. This year, 3 out of the 4 teams in the conference finals play in a dome. Anyone want to speculate why?

I'd like to see the Saints win it all, just for something different. I'm sick of hearing about Favre, sick of Ryan's silliness, and sick of Mannings dumb commercials. Have a nice day...

I think the Colts are going to really regret letting the Jets win that game in week 16. Somehow Ryan has these guys playing out of their minds - and I expect them to really play well. The Colts defense is not all that - so that is why I'm calling for the upset. Jets outright over the Colts.

Same holds true in the NFC. I like the Vikings because of their defense. The two offenses are a wash- IMO. I expect Farve to let it all hang out. If he does not throw the stupid INT (like he has not done all year) and AP can get on track - then the Vikings will win. If they can grind out some drives on the ground - then the NO offense cannot beat you. Maybe I'm thinking this way because I really want to see Farve win the Super Bowl. If the Vikings defense plays the way it did against Dallas - they will be in the Bowl.

OMG nut. Say it isn't so. I plan on putting big money on the colts. But now I'm starting to get worried if you think the jets will win. But I'm still going to do it.

Mainly cause of Peyton Manning. Do you really think the jets can stop him at home? Did you see what he did to Baltimore's defense? That same intimidating defense that destroyed the patriots at home? Right at the end of the first half with 7 seconds left? It's like he can out smart any defense and score when he wants to. That's why I like the colts big in this game.

How sweet it would be if the Colts get knocked out by a team that wouldn't have even made the playoffs if they hadn't rolled over and let them win in game 15...

The only way I see it happening is if Manning gets knocked out of the game early on or if the colts have about 4 turnovers. Otherwise I'm taking the colts to cover 7.5 easily.

That's what I think. But but if I'm putting big money on a game it can get me nervous when I hear all these people taking the jets.

Lets put it this way. I bet you the colts would rather play the jets than the steelers in the playoffs. That's why I wonder if that's why the colts let the jets win.

I'm taking the money and running. I don't know how I won that one.

But I'll be betting big on the colts in the superbowl.

I thought that Minny outplayed New Orleans in most every aspect of the game - except the turnovers. And, I think that Minny would have given the Colts a better fight. If the Saints can force turnovers like they did on Sunday, this Super Bowl could be quite interesting. But, I'll bet that the Colts find a way to win this one.
