i think that Manningham should get some consideration...and i really don't think John Navarre was very good, he just had fantastic receivers. He was 6'6" and got half of his screen passes batted down at the line.

Who would you suggest for 16? I'm not saying he was great but there were not a lot of alternatives.

I have Steve Smith on there it was basically a toss up. Arguments can be made for both and that was the point. Outside of those two though there was no one, please don't mention Adrian Arrington I was taking record into consideration for all and a guy who never beat tuos can not be mentioned in my opinion.

When I had a close call I went with record. Mike Hart there was no #20 that was as productive as he was throughout a career and record therefore was not used in his consideration. Who else eould you put here? Hopefully Mike Shaw can be mentioned one day.

Jake Long regardless of record was one of the very best players to have ever played at UM. Jon Jansen was close but being drafted no. 1 oveall in the NFL draft and winning best lineman in the Big Ten as a junior over Joe Thomas was too many accolades for him not to be named the best.

#60 was close as well. Donahue was a All-American and played on some great teams but Messner was right there imo and that's why I listed him on the far right.

What about #30 Brad Cochran? The cornerback out of Birmingham Brother Rice from 1982-85. Was first team all american, team captain in 1985 when they beat Nebraska and finished at #2. Got drafted by the Raiders in 1986 in the third round.
