It was assumed impossible for Michigan to go on a 6 game winning streak in the CCHA tournament and win out to advance, well as of Saturday night that assumption was blown out of the water and now Michigan is headed to Fort Wayne, Ind. to play Bemidji State in the first round of tournament hockey. Michigan is the hottest team in the country right now, a team that no one wants to face. It would be unreasonable to think that they will continue the winning streak all the way to a national championship but then again I could not have believed that they would be CCHA champs and, sure enough, they proved me wrong. I will not be making any games but I will be sure to support the Wolverines as they attempt to push this streak to the end. Its great to be a Michigan Wolverine! Go Blue!

Where in the hell did UM come from? I hate to see them in the same bracket with Miami. They dismantled them once. But twice? I dont know. Where did Hunwick come from? Do you think he is that good or just a hot goaltender?

UM was dead in the water, but played their way in by winning the CCHA tourney. The way they blasted Miami, I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch.
Hunwick is a a tiny 5' 7" junior that was playing while Hogan was injured. He is so small that he can practically stand up under the crossbar (okay, he isn't quite that small!) He has had an amazing run, perhaps he has some sort of Leprechaun power or something...

I watched the Miami game. (I live about 10 miles from Miami) It wasnt the same UM team that played the rest of the season. Its good to get hot at playoff time.
