Since this hasn't been posted at all thought I would contribute.
UM has won the NCAA National Championship in Men's Gymnastics. While its only gymnastics its a NC and its something to not only be proud of but the start of something positive.
Congrats to the team, you did the university proud.

I am glad you posted this,
Michigan athletics has claimed its 58th national championship in any sport, Michigans softball team is #2 in the country and looking to be a very strong contender for National Champions, and once again Michigans Lacrosse team is the odds on favorite to win its 3rd straight mens club national championship. Football might be down and Basketball might be a bit dissapointing but Michigan is still Michigan and will always be mentioned when it comes time to declare a champion.

Michigan has always been one of the top tier Men's Gymnastics Programs. I was actually pretty excited when they won the title too. I have some connections to that program because I used to be pretty competitive in that sport when I was in High School. Kurt Golder was the former Men's coach at Iowa while my gymnastics coach was on their team. One of my former teammates actually competes floor for UM.
And on a side note, MSU doesn't have a team anymore. They cut it because of Title IX a few years ago.
