Is it just me or is the Fox coverage of the BCS title game absolutely horrible. In what is turning out to be a great game so far, the incessant commercials, which seem to take place about every 45 seconds are ruining the game, and thanks a lot for the C team announcers...at least it's not Musburger I guess.

AbRKnight - you are absolutely correct. I think (we interrupt this post with a word from Dodge Ram. Guys, you are never ever gonna be guys unless you buy one of our trucks. --Disclaimer: Do not imitate these stunts, they are professional drivers on closed courses-- Hurry, yes hurry into your dealer where you can take $30,000 off the cost of your new truck. Be the first on your block to drive thru fire. Leave your wife in the dust when she finds out you took out a second mortgage to buy your truck. The deals are here, the deals are NOW!!) the coverage leaves a lot to be desired. I could smell Jimmy Johnsons hairspray thru my HD. Sad.

I do like how they scolded the OU player for trying to hurt Harvin's ankle after a play. Right in front of the camera.. Stupid!

He was driving me nuts and I lost it on that psychic moment. Horrible game calling and did Chris Meyers inject a gallon of Botox into his face? He talks like it is -20 and his face is frozen.

The Tim Tebow love fest is getting to be a bit much.

I love the quote, "Tebow wills his team to wins" <------huh?

He wills his team to wins with the help of Jesus. Jesus loves Tebow the most. Or at least Tebow thinks that.

I didnt watch much but I remember when Oaklahomo was near the florida goalline and the announcers had the downs wrong. it was third and goal on the one and the announcer is yelling "They're going for it on 4th down!" but agreed, from what I heard they sucked. I didnt even watch the second half.

Oh, screw Florida and Tim "I'm better then you" Tebow. I hope the Lions pick him up so I can watch his NFL career die in the first weeks of next season. Tim Tebow will be the next Andre Ware.

I agree that the coverage provided by Fox has been second rate, they did up retread announcers and it shows...

I can sympathize with you guys that the Tebow lovin' get's to be a bit much. I almost wish they wouldn't talk about him so much, so people wouldn't just hate him. I don't know one person that roots for another team that doesn't hate/dislike him...even SEC fans. It's really a shame too because that guy (ability and toughness) doesn't come around every year. Do yourselves a favor and try to look past the lovefest and just enjoy what the guy brings to the game, you won't see anything like him for awhile. I know he's not a RR type guy b/c he likes more speed, but you guys would love Tebow if he was running your spread O.

Two things - one, Fox coverage is terrible. My mother could call a better game and she still thinks that NFL Offensive lineman are "wasting their time playing a game when they could be doing some really productive work on the farm." And, two, Tim Tebow is one of the best college players - period. Like him, or hate him, Tebow is a leader in the huddle and gets it done on the field.

I believe that anyone who doesn't recognize his accomplishments and ability on the field just doesn't know the game of college football. Whether Tebow will be successful at the NFL level is a difficult question, but we're not talking NFL football, are we? If he keeps it up, he'll certainly be one of the Top 10 all time college players.

And, if you look at Florida's coaches - it appears Vance Bedford has done more with Florida's secondary than he was able to do with Michigan's. And, I also heard that Scott Loeffler is the new QB coach for Florida - so, I assume that Tebow's arm will improve over the next season as well - after all, Loeffler seemed to do ok with some of Michigan's QB's.
