My, was that ever a bloodbath! If Jimmy H consistently plays the way he did in games 4, 5, and 7, this team could easily be back in the Finals again. Go Wings!

I don't think I've ever seen a hockey team play as aggressively and focused as the Wings did in Game 7 against Phoenix. My only hope is that with the short rest (Tuesday to Thursday) against San Jose, that they get their legs and pull out a win in Game 2. I didn't see last night's game, but heard that there were 3 quick goals by San Jose in the first period - and though the Wings fought back, it was a bit too deep of a hole to dig out of on the road.

I don't know what to say about these first two games. The officiating in the NHL is getting worse every year, and the league is really turning into a joke.
