So, I was just getting my first chance to rewatch the OKL/FLA BCS NC game, and in the pregame they showed past NC winners in reverse order. I guess I never gave it a lot of thought before, but I saw the highlights of OSU beating Miami followed by some great plays Miami made the year before. Let's be honest, and I'm not a Miami fan, but that was one hell of a team that has been rivaled in recent history only by the 2004 and 2005 USC teams that had two Heisman winners on it (both teams had 34 wins before their streak was broken in the NC game). So then it hits me. In light of the past few seasons........HOW IN THE HELL DID TRESSEL WIN THAT GAME? I would concede that the Miami team of 2002 was more talented than the FLA 2006, LSU 2007, and USC 2008 teams, which all embarrassed OSU. Further, the 2002 Buckeye team seemed to be anything but special....didn't they win every game by one score that year?:D Wasn't that the year that NC ST took them to the bell, or was it overtime? The only thing I can come up with is that they didn't actually win, and that the pass interference call was BS. However, they were in that game and deserved to win as much as Miami, so I'll ask again, how in the hell did Tressy pull that one off?

Defensive coordinator - Dantonio and running back Maurice Clarett are the answers. Actually Tressel tried everything to lose that game but those two wouldn't let him.

My point proven again, the game was fixed, the refs were paid off, by whom and for what purpose, I don't know, but it seems obvious to me that there was an agenda being played out!

Also, nobody has answered my trivia question!

yeah Clarret was the reason that UOS won that game in the end butI think we all remember Mcgahee his knee and there bad break up. If Willis doesnt tear his knee apart I think the U would have won that game

Hey Sten, what was the trivia question?

What is the only day of the year on which there are no official professional or college football, baseball, basketball, or hockey games being played?

No kidding, that is great bar trivia. I might have to earn me a couple of free drinks tomorrow during the Illini game. I'll let you know how I do. lol

People always guess Christmas or something like that. I like the question as it shows people, who may doubt it, how the Roman Circus Maximus is alive and well in the 21st century!
