Sources: Hazelton transferring to Cincy

Former USC 5 star wide receiver Vidal Hazelton is expected to transfer to Cincinnati, a source close to Hazelton said Wednesday.

Hazelton plans to transfer to the school contingent upon passing an upcoming physical examination.

Hazelton had only six catches for 38 yards this season at USC due to injuries. He had 50 catches for 540 yards in 2007.

Hazelton, at 6-foot-2 and 210 pounds, was one of the nation's top recruits coming out of Hargrave Military Academy.

USC loses recruits because they are 4 and 5 deep with NFL talent at many key positions. To compare a rebuilding program like Michigan to USC is crazy. USC is losing players because they are great - Michigan is losing players because they suck.

All the more reason to come to Michigan and play before 100,000 fans at the big house. I'd like to see recruits come in here believing they will fix the problem. If they are so insecure that they don't think they can be the solution to the problem then they might as well go elsewhere. Our coach is a proven winner and it is only a matter of time before we will be back. I like our chances for the upset next year at the big house. I'll be there and make sure things are as loud as possible for the buckeyes when they are on offense and as always I will be sure to show the buckeye fans what classy fans we are.

so fucking great they accept 100s of thousands of dollars in incentives, ask this question when the reggie bush case gets out of court and USC is eternally fucked. something ohio state players and fans know plenty about.

As a Cincinnati and Michigan fan, that is just awesome to hear. You all should be happy too, if Cincinnati continues to improve, they cold possibly start to pull some better OSU recruits away.

I live in the cinci area as well and would just love for Ohio State to have a great in state rivalry game. OSU should start scheduling the bearcats rather than youngstown state.

Didn't they used to until the games started to get more competitive???

You have a great point. Maybe if they did schedule Cinci they might have had a chance against USC because obviously Youngstown St. & Ohio really prepared them for USC!

Speaking of USC, whats the deal with Carroll bitching about Sanchez leaving early? Are they gonna be in trouble next year?

They actually had a deal to play in the near future down here in Cincinnati, 2010 I believe, but Ohio State payed UC $1 million to cancel the game. Cancel the game, not even move it to Columbus. They're scared of UC.

Aaron Corp does not have that great of an arm. He throws bubble balls similar to TP and then there is Garrett Green who I really haven't read or heard much about however Mitch Mustain, who transferred from Arkansas went 8-0 in 2006 which doesn't say all that much but he can throw a long ball and shuffle his feet.

Scared of Cincy ? How come nobody has heard of this except for you ? Once a contract is signed teams don't switch or cancell games because its to hard to find a replacement. Just because the Bearcats gave the Buckeyes a tough game in 2002 does not make Ohio State scared of them by any means. Cincy had a pretty good year untill the wheels fell off but don't start talking crazy that teams are afraid of you guys.

What wheels fell off at Cincy? 11-3 whilst winning the Big East and playing in a BCS bowl. All the while using their 3rd and 4th option at the QB position.

C'mon nut, pull yer head out and pull tressy's wanker outta yer mouth and think, just think before you post something.

$1M to get out of a game with Cincy. Seems like OSU IS scared. Once again nut, pull tressy's wanker out of your mouth and think, just think before you post something.

This is good news for the trolls, who don't have to wish an injury on Sanchez like before the last tUOS vs. USC game...

$hady program$ like U$C and tUO$ never have to rebuild. Ethical ones occasionally do.

Michigan loses players for the same reason USC does - Beaver decomitted because he didn't want to compete with Forcier, for example...

I'll take that bet. They will not lose to a MAC or 1AA school though. My guess is a 1 loss season - to a Big Ten school (not Michigan).

maybe ellen tressel can run the offense for ohio state , cause she is the only one with balls , jimmy sure as hell doesnt know whats going on, one loss eh nut, just like you were going to run the table last year .. ha ha ha , i see 9 and 3 at best maybe 8 and 4 , then you go to a bowl game and add to tressels 3 straight bowl losses, 8 .and 5 ,how funny is that, yep but atleast we beat michigan.

I stand corrected, I looked it up, and Ohio State cancelled a game to be played in Columbus in 2010, and had a game scheduled to be played in Cincinnati moved back to Columbus for $1 million.

If I was OSU, I wouldn't want to predict a one loss season with beating USC... That means they would end up in a BCS bowl again and we all know how that ends..

OSU is going get smoked by USC again. USc has almost their entire offense returning. Even without Sanchez (who was challenged for the starter by that Mitch guy) they have twice the talent of OSU. Plus this will be a big game early in the year and we all know what happens to Tressell in big games lately.

We will see how they play on the road in a hostile enviorment East of the Mississippi. USC is a different team on the road in the Pac 10 - wait till they come East with a new qb.

USC is more scared of the real OSU, the one that can actually compete with them on the field. you know, the Beavers?

OSU will lose by around 14-17

I hope OSU straight up floors USC in that game next year. Heck I might even try to go to that one. Let USC come to big ten territory at the hostile horshoe and see how they do. All OSU has to do is pretend it is playing Michigan. Sorta like what the waterboy did in the movie. I have nothing against the bucks just their rude fans who act like they are the ones on the field playing. My wife happens to be a Buck and she always roots for my team except one game a year. She's also alot better looking than the Buckeye Sweetie. My niece's name is Scarlett Gray. I told them they could get her a scholarship maybe if they gave her a middle name that started with an n. 2 years ago me and the wife were at a sports bar in covington and my wife almost got into it with the OSU fans for downing Michigan. I had to drag her out of there.
