I just got home from the OSU / Ohio game and it was a great time. We left Cleveland at 5am and arrived in Columbus at 7:30. If any of you Buckeye fans have not been to the new Ohio Union - you have to go. The Union is not only the largest in the nation - but the design, thought and workmanship that was put into is nothing short of amazing. The union had all the confence and meeting rooms open and on display to view - as well as the 4000 person Archie Griffin Ballroom. You can actually get married at the union. We had breakfast at the Sloopy Diner - great food. We then walked across the oval to Lane to tailgate. The game was what many of us expected and was pretty boring from the second quarter on. The halftime show was maybe the best I ever saw - a tribute to Warner Bros. The best part was Elmer Fudd hunting Wolverines.
On the way back to the union we stopped off at the newlt renovated libray - WoW. The 100+ million dollar project is just as stunning as the Union. It was funny to see the look on everybodys face that was seeing both buildings for the first time. The Buckeyes have done an amazing job at cleaning up the image of the university by improving the buildings as well as all the projects along High St. Great Day - The Ohio State University has never looked better.
