I know that it was forever ago, but Michigan went 1-7 in 1934 and 1-7 in 1936 (.125 win pct.). This year's 3-9 was not the worst season ever (.250 win pct.), even if it felt like it was.

Shouldn't these guys do a little research before they let hyperbole get the best of them?

They're just calling it "the worst season ever" based on wins and losses. No UM team has ever lost 9 games, hence "worst season ever". Not entirely untruthful. But, it's journalism. Since when should we take what they say as fact.
