I was just browsing CBS Sportsline and saw the following, and YES, i know that our RPI rating this early in the season has very little reflection on how we will play for the rest of the season. (Although i am looking forward to seeing mr. Lucas-Perry take the floor)

Mostly a result of our killer schedule. We've already played UCLA and Duke, and will play Maryland (knocked of #6 lil bro), Duke again, and UConn at some point. Talk about a killer schedule, but at least we don't play Gtown and Butler, like last year. Seriously, WTF Martin??

I think its good that we are scheduling the top notch teams in basketball, it will only help our team in the longrun. Plus, it obviously helps our RPI, so hopefully we will put together a pretty decent record this year, we will have a good shot at making it back to the big dance. I think it was 2 years ago when we had a decent record, but we had a terrible RPI so we had to settle for the NIT. With that win against UCLA, we are on the right track...

It's great to see our Basketball program making progress towards being a contender again. Michigan athletics are doing great right now. (Besides football ironically.)

All the sports are coming together. Football is on it's way.

A tough non-conference is all right if they can win the majority of their conference games. If they can get around 20 wins that high RPI will get them into the tourney.
