wow, 4 points half way through the first half, this is terrible. We cant even get a shot off, we turn it over before we can shoot! I never realized how small our team was until we played OSU for the first time. We look like little kids out there compared to them. I dont know what is wrong with Manny either, ever since the IU game he hasn't been the same player...

And I am glad I didnt, Zach Novak threw an obvious elbow and caught the OSU guy right on the chin!!!! Flagrent foul and an ejection....

The more I watch UM the more baffled I become at how they beat Duke.

The replay clearly showed Novak's cheap shot was premeditated. You can see him take a peek, wind up, and deliver the elbow just as the ball is shot. What a no class punk! Sparty's got nothing on you guys.

Yet you guys bitch when two MSU guys do likewise to a Michigan hockey player. Those are the kind of things schools with no talent or chance do. If we cannot beat them on the court - give them a cheap shot. Im sure OSU could care less - they had scoreboard. The Buckeyes are young and our best player is injured - and we still drilled you guys. We beat you up at home and on the road. I sort of like these WVU coaches - can you get anymore

An elbow to a man standing is NOT the same as slashing a man face down on the ice with a hockey stick.

That being said, it was a hot headed move and he was penalized for it, as he should have been.

Don't say you guys bitch. It was one guy that said something. I for one feel Novak's elbow was uncalled for and he got what he deserved by getting kicked out of the game and his punishment is probably not done yet.

The Big Ten announced today that University of Michigan freshman guard Zack Novak has been suspended for one game by the U of M. Novak was ejected from the Ohio State game for throwing an flagrant elbow at the head of OSU guard P. J. Hill on a free throw attempt late in the game.

“Zack Novak’s actions at the end of the Ohio State game are unacceptable and have no place in the sport of basketball or the Big Ten Conference,” commissioner James E. Delany said. “We support Michigan’s implementation of a one-game suspension.”

Novak will miss Michigan's next game vs. Purdue.
