We can't beat them at any sport anymore! It just seems as if they have more superior athletes that are bigger, more physical that ours are. This goes for football and basketball. Is it because we have 2 new coaches that came in and are totally over-hauling our football and basketball programs? I mean, when OSU brought in Tressel and Thad Matta, it seems as if their programs were turned around and near the top of the charts in no time. Tonight, while watching the OSU-UM basketball game, I realized that they dominate us in both major sports and have been for the last 5-6 year....This makes me want to vomit...I hate Ohio State!!

It is not an accident that OSU's recent run coincided with OSU's return to the recruiting of scumbags. They rode d-bag Clarett to the NC in football, and their resurgence in basketball came under O'Brien who was fired for major NCAA rules violations.

The NCAA must enjoy having OSU up near the top, however, because nothing ever sticks to them. I love the article about how ESPN reported seven major violations, but the NCAA came back and told them that only three would really be pursued because the NCAA "missed the deadline for pursuing them."

LOL, thanks for qualifying that the buckeye fan that you fucked was in fact, a chick! You must have spent some time in S.E. Asia, say in Thailand perhaps, where such a qualification is absolutely essential when bragging about your sexual exploits to your pals -- essential, yet sometimes very very difficult to ascertain! Little hint from a seasoned traveler, check their hands and feet to be sure! They can have their junk whacked off, and even have themselves crafted a very passable...well you know..., heck they can even have an Adam's apple removed -- but they cannot change the size of their hands and feet. If she's smoking hot, big titties, sexy ass, but has hands like Dr. J and feet like Frodo Baggins, she's a dude, or at least was a dude!

This one time my buddies and I were in this seedy little go-go bar in BKK down in Pad Pong...ah, maybe some other time! LOL!

Frank Rizzo, open your fucking ears, JACKASS! I'll come down their and wrap your fucking head in with a ratchet! You ain't got nobody that work like me! I work on RACE CAR, fof 15 years!

LOL, love the Jerky Boys! (unless you're name really is Frank Rizzo! -- and if so, sorry for making fun of you!) LOL!

Go Blue and keep fucking those chicks in the Buckeye...I mean those Buckeye chicks!

I just nearly fell off my chair and did spill some of my coffee. Thanks, now I have to send one of the interns out to get me another coffee, I think I'll send the osu grad, this way it will prepare him for the future, his nickname here is Gopher. Lol

Sounds like sour grapes. Ohio State made a huge investment in many of their sports. They have many new coaches in soccer, wrestling, mens and womens basketball and football. They have also spent millions of dollars on state of the art practice and game facilities. All the coaches are also great recruiters. Winning breeds winning. Once Tressel cut off the boarders he begain to win alot of games. Its not hard to figure out. Michigan for many years (like it or not) was arrogant in thinking "We are Michigan. we will always be great". That is no longer true. Michigan has become outdated in many areas and have fallen behind many schools. Michigan has to (and has begun) update many facilites. That is something that should have been done years ago - they have the money. The Buckeyes are super young in ALL of their major sports so don't expect them to be bad anytime soon. Part of the problem Michigan has is that they became old fashioned. They will have to work hard and make many improvements before they are great again.

One of the rare instances we agree.

They only own us in Football and Basketball right now. Football will become even again in the next couple of years, and our basketball program should be back to it's pre-sanctions self soon. Other than those two sports we pretty much kill them.

If you want to know how they can be so good, it's largely because they have no in-state rival school to compete with for the top talent. We have MSU to fight with for everything, OSU gets whomever they want in-state.

They seem to own you in more then just Football and Basketball. I'm pretty sure wrestling, soccer and womens basketball is better then Michigan as well.

I hate this theory of getting undersized players, the players we did have lost weight and got pushed around like rag dolls, this isn't a track team it's a football team. I suspect the whole conditioning thing is going in the wrong direction, we are recruting players like we are a big east team not a big ten team, we shouldn't need trickery because we have undersized players to keep up with the other schools in the conference. We should have prototypical size players at every position like in the past, we shouldn't act like we are a second tear team having to fool everyone because our players are just too small for the conference. Sure it might work for a few games but not for an entire season. I think thats the whole philosophy downfall of this new lighter supposedly quicker team. I'm not buying in yet till it's proved otherwise.

That's cuz you're an idiot!

I didn't see them getting pushed around. In fact, in many instances (although not nearly enough) I saw them dominating other teams -- the execution just wasn't there.

We should have the players like we had in the past? Is this the same past in which we were getting beat year and year out by OSU (the point of this thread)? Not to mention the loses to USC, Oregon, Texas, App. State, Nebraska, et.al.

As Einstein said, you cannot solve a problem with the same logic that created it! By your logic, we should be getting bigger slower players in an effort to contend. I don't see that as being a viable alternative. The size is there still, but only where it is needed, but, also we're adding speed like nothing ever seen in the Big House!

RR's scheme is not one based on trickery (you've been reading too many of RTB's posts), it is based on creating mismatches, getting the ball to quick and fast skill players in space, as well as utilizing a spread option run game to keep defenses from crowding the box to stop the traditional power running sets. Every time someone posts something like your comments, it shows how uninformed most nay-sayers are.

In bygone days Michigan lined up an simply out muscled and out executed teams. Those days are gone -- as Carr's regime should have shown you over the past few years. Speed is king in college football. If you don't have it, you cannot compete with the elite teams, simple as that. Like it or not RAD, you're idea is antiquated and constantly whining about the transition to a modern philosophy (something that should have been begun a decade ago) is why Michigan took so long in the first place to make the transition.

Although I hate to agree with Nut, he's right. Michigan, unfortunately, adhered too vehemently to a football philosophy like the one you propose, and now we're having to play catch up.

Lead, follow, or get out of the way. Which one do you want Michigan to do, considering the choice to "lead" isn't an option as that ship has already sailed. I am not too fond of being a follower, but it sure seem better than the alternative, which Carr thought was the right choice, of getting out of the way and becoming irrelevant.

If you take every sport into account Michigan is ahead of OSU. But since most people only care about Hockey, Basketball, and Football; OSU has a 2-1 lead this year.

Football is VERY cyclical, and both programs will have stretches of success. I really think our basketball program is getting back on track with Bielen, and Michigan will probably always own OSU at Hockey.

Never use the words dominant and school in the same sentence for Ohio State.
