Okay, it appears most everyone likes #3 the most. Some people had opinions that they like how it was, so I made a couple variations of the same banner. Again, only choose a max of two banners. This is the last time I'm updating any banners, so don't ask for changes. Thanks for everyone's involvement.

I know you said no changes lol but I think #1 would be perfect if the first two lines were centered along with the dates. It still gets my vote.

Done. I can't center the "Hail Victors" part if that's what you were talking about. It covers Desmond's head.

#1 for the win. Thanks for doing this tpilews.
I might get something other than Gimp because it completely fails at cropping pictures.

I voted for #2, but I just wish there were more white jerseys. I love that you took the time to do this though!

Yeah, I originally was going for all blue jersey and then gonna do white and maize lettering somehow. But, I couldn't find as good a picture of brady with blue on as the white one.

I know this might be too late, but is there any way to add an idea I had for the banner?

Does it seem weird to anyone else that we haven't been CC since 2004? :eek:

Well I like #2 the best because of the Bo quote, there's too much writing on #1. Why do I care so much? Haha

It's cool Green. You're probably the best troll on here anyway. Well, I wouldn't classify you as a troll. You're actually are quite unbiased and always say something worth reading.

I respect your opinion, but I HATE the white jerseys. One is enough for me.

Here are some photos of Brady in the home uniform, like #1 and #2 but will post them all...I think it would look better with all blue or add some more white jerseys. The 1 away jersey doesn't look right to me but what do I know!

I'll see what I can do. One last poll perhaps, just to see if everyone like the all blue vs. brady being the only white jersey.

Yeah, no shit. This is starting to be bullshit. I'm done. Winner is #2. You guys want some changes, maybe in a couple months.

I hate to say it, but picture number 3 of Tom Brady (Blue) kind of makes him look like Jimmy Clausen. So if you pick any of them don't pick that one! Anyone else agree?

Maybe adding some of these in there somehow:
Or other pictures that you can come up with showing some of our coaches.

Maybe in a future one. That's a good idea though. I tried making one with RR in it. Just couldn't make it look right. No real good pictures of him.

Yeah I wasn't able to find any good RR pictures either. Well that was just an idea, maybe something for the future.

Yeah, because editor hasn't been able to get it aligned to center. Give him time, he'll figure it out.

Well if I'm not mistaken one of those should work.
It's just from my page source which can be notorious for inaccuracies.

He said he's been trying a couple different templates, but it isn't working. Hopefully, he'll see this and it'll work.

Yeah. Here's the problem. I can't find which of the dozens of templates that render the site that code is in. It's all generated on the fly with calls and php and such.

Ha. Figured it out (obviously). I just had to track down the variables that resided in another template.
I probably screwed something else up in doing so, so let me know if things are not rendering properly.
BTW TPILEWS, how DID you make that banner? I assume you photoshopped it together from a bunch of player photos ...
hmmm ... I wonder if we're violating any Michigan trademarks with that ...

I see that I was right with #1.
All you needed to do was align it 'center' instead of 'left'.
<a name="top"></a>
<table bgcolor="white" border="0" width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" align="center">

<td align="right" id="header_right_cell">
</td>
</tr>
</table>
But now that the table is centered we should probably put the image there. :D

It actually wasn't that simple since the code does not look like that on my end. For example, here's the code that led me to the fix:
<td align="$stylevar"><a href="$vboptions[forumhome].php$session[sessionurl_q]"><img src="$stylevar[titleimage]" border="0" alt="$vboptions[bbtitle]" /></a>
Worse, it was not where you might expect -- at the top of the index page. The code renders differently than it looks in the templates. I actually tried a lot of different variations to get to the correct one.
To paraphrase Lloyd Bentsen. I know HTML. HTML is a friend of mine. Code, you're no HTML.
