You Michigan fans must be so proud of the job Beilein is doing at Michigan. How that hell that sorry ass team beat UCLA and Duke is beyond me. I thought Michigan put pride in being held to a higher standard then other schools. I thought Michigan looked at itself as a university of higher education and morals. I never bought into that crap, but many of you Wolverine fans have over the years. You looked down your noses like you guys were so much better then everybody else. Your not.

In fact RR has shown you exactly how low you actually are at this point - now it's the basketball teams turn. Beilein has taken a team and has quickly turned them into the dirtiest team in the country. He has brought a if you cannot beat them - beat them up attitude to Michigan. In back to back games he has had a player ejected for throwing elbows. The actions of Novak and Harris have no place in basketball. The actions of your players are a direct refection on the coach. It's no wonder Michigan has no talent or class. I'm just glad that Ohio State and Purdue had the class that Michigan all of a sudden lacks - to refrain from doing something stupid in return.

They did what your supposed to do - beat their ass on the scoreboard. I find it funny how when a Michigan hockey player is hit (and yes that was a dirty play as well) in such a fashion, you guys lose your minds. Yet, when a person who is un-protected like a basketball player is gets assulted - it's a bad call. Novak sought out and hit his guy in a pre meditated fashion. Harris seemed to throw his elbow out of flustration over a guy playing good tight defense. Maybe Michigan needs to work on having better fundementals. Also maybe they can try to fit in an anger managment course along the way. You Michigan fans must be sooooooooooo proud.:(

Writing a 2000 word post does not make up for you trolling about a Michigan hockey player getting hurt.

Ban osunut.

At least Michigan students are taught how to construct complete sentences and spell.

- and throw elbows.

Funny, did you even watch the situation? It's called clearing the zone and everyone, even the Kramer (the kid that was hit) said that it was an accident.

Funny how someone that supports a punching coach and a kicking LB could throw stones at anyone though.

When I first saw the hit, it did look intentional. But replays from other angles clearly showed it was unintentional. Stuff like this happens in BBall all the time Kramer just leaned into it when Harris brought the ball over his chest to pass it.

I saw the incident - it's called throwing an elbow. The official did not see it as "clearing space". Sure the Purdue player said that - he has class. Harris did not like the fact that he was being D'ed up so tight - so he resorted to throwing a cheap shot. You don't clear space with your elbows that high. Was Kramer guarding him with his head ? Even when your coach was trying to explain how this could of happened - he never raised his elbows that high. Watch the new conference. He looked like a back peddling jackass. Both incidents were cheap and classless - seems fitting.

yea ass clown (osunut), im sure beilein tells his players to throw elbows, get a fuckin clue, the novak elbow was obviously intentional but you can't even compare it to the manny incident, i don't know how anybody can claim that that was an dangerous move that manny made...first off, it kind of looks like kramer flopped even before manny touched him, and if he did touch him he barely knicked his nose...and im sure manny meant to do this on purpose while his team had a 2nd half lead on the road in a game they couldve easily won (sarcasm)

Anyone seen ESPN's coverage of the so-called incident?? I always thought Bilas was a tool, but his level of Beilein hatred has reached a totally new level recently. ESPN makes me sick, I wish Sports Ill. would start a channel sometime.

See ousnut has never played a sport in his life other than rolling on mat with other boys. His lack of sport knowledge comes from being picked last in gym class.

Truth hurts. The official mad ethe right call. It's funny how Kramer so called flopped, yet he was bleeding like a pig. Maybe you need to know the meaning of flop - watch some soccer.

I have watched a ton of games this year yet I have not seen a play anywhere close to what happened in the last two Michigan games. It was dirty and cheap - period. If you don't want the negitive pub - stop bringing it on. If your football team and basketball team performed better maybe things would stop. Has Michigan had any positive press in the last year or so ?

I stick by my original statement - CLASSLESS

Maybe someday the basketball players from Michigan can evolve beyond elbowing and transition to choking players out...

I seem to remember an OSU linebacker choking Wisconsin QB Jim Sorgi in 2003 under Tressel. Show us something worse than that by a Michigan player.

The Buckeyes took their beating with class. They did not cheap shot the WVU players.

Funny how UM fans have to freelance for other teams and conferences when talking trash to The Ohio State University.

Could it be the 16-2 Matta/Tress combined win, loss record against UM that attributes to your low self esteem?

It really is that simple isn't it? I'm still scratching my head over what an 'unintentional flagrant foul' is.

Many people don't think the foul looked flagrant because many don't know what constitutes a flagrant foul.

Harris was guilty of "excessive swinging," which includes the swinging of the elbows at a greater speed than the rotation of the rest of the body. Such an action may result in an injury if an opponent is contacted. When a player actually strikes an opponent with an excessively swung elbow, even if the movement is non-confrontational, the player has committed a flagrant foul. A flagrant foul necessitates the ejection of the offending player.

It's important to recognize the difference between rotating with the elbows extended and swinging one's extended elbows. The former is a legal movement. The latter is not. Harris was guilty of swinging his elbows. At a great speed, his elbows moved ahead of his trunk rotation. What compounded the issue was harris swinging his elbows above his shoulders. Players rarely get the benefit of the doubt when making a swift movement toward an opponent's head.

Like it or not, this was a cut-and-dry matter. The correct call was made and Harris was justly ejected.

Big Ten agrees there will be no additional action for Harris. Finally, some sense prevails. Now, how about an apology Bilas? Or is he still busy suckling on Amaker?

You are truly great OSU nut now I'm laughing. So OSU took the beating with class? Reminds me of what was said after the USC game when you guys got thumped. Michigans down right now but you guys are expected to win and instead you get thumped with class. *laughs*

I've played basketball all my life. Competitively through college. Shoot, I almost died from a routine Achilles reattachment that caused several pulmonary embolisms back in 2001. I have 3 scars on my face that required stitches, two of which were due to elbows.

It's part of the game! Quit crying like a little girl NUT, and go sell a car, damn it!

The more important question is, who throws an elbow and gets ejected tonight?

Just kidding folks. Go Blue, beat Penn State!
