All you Hoke haters have 2 days to get your rage out of your system then it is time to move on and support him.

So unleash the hate here.

Thats right people get out your frustration that Miles and Harbaugh didnt want to come to UM and you had to settle for a man that will put his heart and soul into this program. Good luck coach Hoke!

Good call.

Anyone upset with the hire needs to get over it. The fact is that, to the average fan, Hoke is an unknown quantity (not necessarily a bad thing... so was Bo). The fact is that there were no huge names to go after that we didn't go after. The fact is that, even with a "known" hire, the results would still be an "unknown."

I'm pumped up. Go Blue!

Hoke was a new direction, a guy with UM ties but no baggage. Miles and Harbaugh came with baggage - whether it was recruiting violations, undermining UM in recruiting, speaking out against UM’s academic programs for athletes, DUI’s, messy divorces, eating grass, etc. Hoke is free of these skeletons.

Hoke’s legacy will be shaped entirely by how he coaches at UM, not what he did on the journey here.

I'm all for Hoke - he's Michigan's coach, and I support him and all of the players.

I don't have a single negative word for him. My only question is - were you as supportive of RR when he arrived as you are of Hoke? It's water over the dam, and I don't wish to stir anything up - I just sense a lot of hypocritical thoughts - "JH would have been the revered, and since he turned his back on Michigan and decided to go to the NFL - he's no longer wanted."

I haven't seen the presser - but will soon. Welcome Coach Hoke - make a difference - lead these young men - I hope you build a legacy like many coaches before you.

I just listened to the Presser. Hoke seems very solid. There's no doubt he understands the environment - the program - and the tradition. My fingers are crossed that there's enough room "in the budget" - to bring in two VERY solid coordinators to complement him.

I didn't need to see Hoke in the Presser to support him - he would have gotten it anyway; however, he impressed me in what he said and how he said it.

I supported RR until the PSU game. I figured after 2 weeks to prepare and that was the best we had then it was time for a change.
