The played with the buckeyes for awhile, all this team needs is to play a bit smarter.

Buckeye's are tough team, I can see them in the final 4.

Morgan was awesome tonight on the big guy, well done.

I was glad to see that the team didnt fold after losing to Kansas only 3 days ago. In the last few years the team has had a habit of losing a tough fought game and then falling apart in the next game but this team played tough from start to finish and looked like a strong team.

I think the refs made some suspect calls down the stretch that almost exclusively went Ohio States way but I suppose that is a part of the game and you have to be able to play through it. Morgan is a special talent that I think will be real good in the next 2 years. With young guys like Hardaway and Morgan the future is bright for this team.

Good to hear.

Hopefully we can get a few wins in the next handful of games. I'd love to see this team finish strong this season.

Like many teams are starting to find out - winning on the road in the Big Ten is not easy. Michigan always seems to play the Buckeyes tough. It seems like Michigan is heading in the right direction. If they can build off of the last two games (Kansas and OSU) I think they will be OK. The problem with some of these young teams are that they play up to the tough competition and down to the weak. Based on how they have been playing there should be zero excuse for them to lose games to the lower tier Big Ten teams. I still think they rely on the long ball a bit to much - but that could be because they still lack a lot of height. Overall I thought it was a tight game that could of went either way.

Your one guard the little white dude can shoot, SOB. We should have hit his other elbow. MI issue is their youth, you can see them go to "playground" stlye basketball even in big games. It's what cost them the game against TSIO and KS. OUr point guard is either going to be really good next year or off the team.

I am really excited about this team. They are pretty impressive for having 2 Juniors and the rest Freshman and Sophmores. No Seniors. Darrious Morris is quickly becomming the best pt guard in the Big10 which is huge for us. Jordan Morgan has a lot of talent and plays well in the block. Hardaway Jr. seems like an all-around good talent, a guy that can do anything for your team. I really like Smotyrich or however you spell his name. He is a big guy with range, reminds me of Kyle Sigler from Duke. This team is heading in the right direction.

Do you think Hardaway,Jr is a one or two and done player ? He seems to have his Father's skills. He is a nice player.

I think he will leave as a JR, he needs to bulk up a bit.

Agreed. He needs to bulk up and he has some work to do to improve his game. He is a good player but he is very raw right now.

Will the real Michigan please stand up. Indiana 80 Michigan 61- how is that possible after going toe to toe with Kansas and Ohio State. That is embarassing.

In the fourth year of the Beilin era and we're not even going to make the NIT.

I'm hoping for the "Great Hillbilly Purge of 2011".

Did you happen to see who is the new #1 team in college basketball. I don't think they are the #1 team at this point and they will lose a few games this season - but the Bucks will be tough come tourney time.

osu has been very impressive this year and they certainly have a shot to win a NC. This is the best osu team Ive seen since Jimmy Jacksons era.

I wouldn't get too excited, the last time tUOS won a basketball NC, Ike was Prez, the Korean War was raging and they didn't let black dudes play the game...

And Fielding Yost designed the winged helmet, right?

It was Crisler, not Yost. Get it right. :)

That being said what do we do about Beilein? I thought they were headed in teh right direction but here we sit on a 6 game losing streak and 7 of the last 8 with only 1 conference win. This type of record sunk RR will it sink Beilein as well? I'm thinkig that it will. Can UM at this point go out and get a good coach? I'm thinking they can as they are set to come off basketball probation, they've been to the tourny recently and have some actual talent on the roster. I just don't think they're at the point where they can get a top flight coach.

At least we have something to be excited about. That train wreck of a WV sports connection you have in Ann Arbor is legendary.

Youre right, no top flight coach is going to come to UM. If it were me I would go after a good mid major coach like Wisconsin did with Bo Ryan or Tennessee did with Bruce Pearl. Go after a guy with intensity and passion, I dont know if youve ever listened to Beilein but it is the best sleeping pill ever.
