I have this posted on a few developer sites, I can't remember if anyone here programs? Anyways, here it is, let me know if you're interested:

Hey everyone I have a business idea I came up with and I need a partner for it. I have an idea for an online free to play, micropay for extra, text browser game, I've ran the idea past quite a few players in similar games and it has had very positive feedback so far. I have the idea protected a few ways legally, I just need someone who can be THE programmer for this game. I am offering a full equal partnership in the new company for this, no subcontracting or anything, it becomes yours just as much as mine.

I have the first 3-4 months of game content down on paper already and the first year mapped out, but this game will require regular (monthly) content updates so this is not just a one time, make this game for me deal, it will be an ongoing job that will eventually turn into some good money through microtransactions.

One main game I play now that will stay unnamed is somewhat similar, all text based and it generates around $400 a day with under 200 users online. The difference is that game is so generic it's not funny, my game has a lot of unique content/concepts that will help word spread. I have about ten percent of that player base ready to bail and come over to my game once it is finished (as well as players from other games), that's all you need to start is a good word of mouth pool. I expect within 12 months of launch the game to be producing a minimum of 100 dollars a day. The current game I play is just under a year old so I think that is a VERY conservative and feasible estimate/goal.

I have a very good business background and can make working on my end of the game (online advertising, game moderation, new content creation, etc) full time. This is a great opportunity for the right programmer to cash in and get in on the ground floor.

To be clear, I am not asking for any money for investing. The website is paid for the first year already and any funds will be taken care of, I just need a SOLID programmer who can work on this (and not lose interest in 3 months) and take co-ownership of the company (along with 50/50 split of future profits after investments repaid) as pay. Please pm me for more info. Thanks!

I got a solid programmer. :) I'm hoping for a spring Beta launch, I'll post the link when the game is ready.

I am also adding a few nice pro-UM features, more to come on that closer to launch.

Programmers are a fickle bunch. I went through a couple amateurs until I got tired of it and decided to hire a professional. The game begins fresh production, under contract, on Monday. Game will be professionally done and damn near bug free this way, it's just taking a little longer to get out.

I'm expecting a September launch now, but a much more polished product will be available. There will be a bonus code for anyone checking out the game from this site, I'll add more info once it gets closer.

For any gamers on the forums, testing is underway for Brains, the launch date of July 15th is looking SOLID. :)

The basic concept is you are the brain of a zombie. You are able to take over other bodies, or "hosts", by winning combat (you earn entry into this combat to by completing any quest), sawing open their head and putting your brain in, giving you control.

There are 3 different types of quests you can do, fighting, digging or trying to escape.

There is no effective level OR experience. The closest indicator would be your Total Host Count (or THC - wasn't even planned that way lol)

If anyone would like to see the beta testing stage, pm me for the link. The main game link is brainsmmo.com and has a countdown page up to launch after that you can create a character and check it out, hope to see some of you guys there! :)

Brains is live! Over 150 people have signed up so far, been up for just over 2 days. Also the game is completely free to play but offers donation options if you want, but all content is open to free players. It plays from any web browser, IE8+, Chrome and Firefox are supported but it plays on most phones as well as the Ipad.

Anyone from here that checks it out will get a free $5 donator package, just look me up in the game, I'm TenaciousD, link is in my siggy.

GO BLUE! :)
